Have eaten there numerous times and today was disappointing. I am writing this in hopes they take the criticism as wanting to help there business. I had lunch today and it was less than good. The sushi was globs of rice with irregular cut pieces of fish. The 2 dirty tables across from me were never cleared or cleaned during the entire time. The condiments at the table , soy sauce ,srirachi and salt were filthy and look like they had not been cleaned for a week (srirachi excess at tip was black) i was afraid to use the items. they also were out of Sunomono which is basically cucumbers in vinegar. Experience was not like previous visits as I know help hard to find. Will give it another try but cleanliness can't be overlooked.

Terrible food, terrible service and terrible prices. Oh btw no alcohol not even a beer. Would you like lettuce in your miso soup?

Got here after work and easily got in. Got my water, Miso soup and sushi roll fairly quickly. Also my water glass stayed filled. Then got my Bento box. It was supernormous! Good food! Atmosphere was nice. I do recommend this place!

They do such a great job. Prices are reasonable, quality is superb. One of the best mid priced sushi joints in town. Highly recommend!

If I had the ability to give zero stars I would but I cannot. My husband and I have been coming to this east wind since our first date 6 years ago. We have celebrated so many of our firsts and times with family and friends here and the food has always been amazing, service has been wonderful and we have always left beyond happy. The last two times that we have been in the quality of food has been not good but on Sunday when we went in to have dinner the food was actually bad. I have ordered the bento b every time and the chicken was undercooked the food was way more spicy than normal plus multiple other issues and my husband's hakata ramen was so spicy be couldn't eat it. We didn't recieve a single drink refil. My husband ordered hot tea then brought him the cup and tea bag but he had to go find them to get the hot water.I work in customer service and I hate negative reviews but at this point its nessessary. I spent almost 60 dollars on dinner for two people and it was just bad. I have contemplated for 3 days writing this but I have decided it is nessessary.

I purchased take-out food from East Wind on 03/03/2022. After starting to eat their fried rice my husband found a long black human hair! I called and spoke to the manager. When I told him what had happened this was his exact comments: "Well, we do have humans working, they do have hair and we do have fried rice....ha ha ha ha." Yeah...he laughed. When I asked for his name he hung up on me. Now an hour and a half later, we're both nauseous. I have filed a complaint with the Maricopa County Health Department! NEVER EVER eat here!

You'll want to avoid this place. I ordered some takeout and as soon as I opened the boxes of sushi it smelled like low tide in my house. Rotten lettuce, brown (not even sorta green) avocado, the saddest cuts of sashimi you've ever seen. Somehow, Eastwind has managed to carry on the PV Mall aesthetic with their food quality. Depressing, tired and fully in need of a health inspector send over the demo crew from the mall to finish the job on this restaurant. It wasn't great 10 years ago, it's a disaster now.

Dine in traveling. Ramen was ok no tonkatsu ramen. Rainbow roll felt like it was old and pre-made. Menu is to big and confusing. Are you Japanese, Thai or starting to convert to Mexican??

Food is very delicious. The restaurant has a very comfortable and nice vibe. It's sad they sold this restaurant, but it won't go unnoticed! Food was immaculate!

Excellent food. We ordered the Shrimp tempura appetizer which was amazing, you can tell the oil is fresh. we ordered 4 Sushi rolls; Rainbow roll, Dragon roll, Dynamite roll and the Las Vegas roll. They were AMAZING we enjoyed EVERY bite. The servers speak mostly Spanish so prepare for a language barrier but the food is absolutely worth it.

Was very good! Top notch all the way! Good food and good selection of Chinese, Japanese, and some Korean dishes as well. Resonably priced. Go during happy hours for even better pricing. Friendly, attentive staff as well, and not crowded at all at 4PM on a Saturday! This place suited our gathering of friends perfectly!

Great lunch spot. Service is fast and kind. I haven't ventured out so I can only recommend the teriyaki chicken.

Always a great experience here. Tonight, GAVIN IS THE MAN!! He was so friendly. We don't care if you're new or a veteran server. You can't fake a genuine desire to help people have a great experience. Gavin can serve us literally any time. And.... Smashing Pumpkins for the win. Gavin knows....

Unfortunately, the service was a combination of new employees and awkward interactions. I am all for Hiring high school kids and don't tend to leave reviews but I have to say I was surprised. Food quality is 2.5 stars Service was 2.5 stars this evening but an extra .5 for the one waiter running the whole floor (him and a bus boy) I will give the atmosphere a 2 star (it's a sushi restaurant that looks like part lodge with a deer head -literally) All said, I enjoyed the sushi! 4 stars for the sushi.
