The service was excellent, the food not so much. It was obvious that some items were microwaved. A few items were good, the rest of it was not so great. The food is kind of a hit and miss. I probably won't go back.

After Thanksgiving the family wanted/needed brats, authentic German beer and weiner schnitzel. We did a deep dive and Edelweiss Biergarten kept coming up. We came early due to two small toddlers. They offered the patio for seating which was perfect for our two grandchildren to move about on. Our server was helpful and knowledgeable. He came up as soon as we sat down and asked if we would like to order some appetizers for us and our toddlers. What a thoughtful, forward-thinking idea. Yes! He recommended the huge Bavarian pretzel, and we added French fries. The apps came out quickly even before the children decided they were hungry. The pretzel was delightful, soft, fully baked, and delicious. The toddlers ate most of the pretzel while we finished the rest of it. Gosh the French fries we excellent-lightly salted with just the right amount of crunch. We were in heaven with large bottles of ketchup and mustard at the table, no small packets of ketchup or a thimble of ketchup. Wait for the BEST part. Our daughter in law is gluten intolerant and wanted a beer. They do offer gluten free beer. CHEERS! She enjoyed the beer. They do have brats and sausages that are gluten free. Which she ordered and enjoyed. THANKS! Everyone ordered something different, the Beer Hots were spicy, devious and delicious, the schnitzel was huge and delicious, the chicken sausage was tasty and delicious. The side dishes were tried and all of us, thought the the red cabbage, the sauerkraut, spaetzle & German fried potatoes were tasty and stunningly delicious. Everyone enjoyed everything that was ordered. Yup, hard to believe but it’s true. The server checked on us several times, he was a real pro. We tried to save room for dessert, but everything was so good we couldn’t help ourselves. This will be our go to restaurant for German food like mom cooks. My wife and I flew home today, and we were still talking about the delightful meal, the waiter and patio area. YES, it is a must try and enjoy. Prost!

Food was very good, and reasonably priced. We had a large party, and tried many different dishes. No one was disappointed. Larry the Accordion Guy is a trip! Kept everything lively. Never before heard Guns 'N Roses performed polka style! Would have been 5 stars if it weren't for the bird poop we had to dodge on our table and benches. I get that it's outside, under trees, but still... A little rag and bleach action would have made it a perfect evening. Would definitely go there again, but would be careful about where I sat!
