Einstein Bros. Bagels (GCU Campus)

I love how the restaurant always feels clean and well-maintained.

Couldn't get in to store it's in GCU

They should note that

Drove all the way here. Was told at the gate It was a closed Christian campus, I was not allowed to enter unless I was a student or employee. Sure wish that was in the information before I drove there.

One of the cashiers didn't want to help us, she told us to go to the other cashier. I think it was because we are Latinos and before we got to the cash register we were speaking Spanish. He made us feel bad. In other restaurants they have always been kind. I have never felt discriminated against. I hope the manager sees this comment.

Kid-friendliness: It's on a college campus so they really don't have kids go there

I have been here a couple times and I know that it’s a college food dining place, but today I was incredibly disappointed. I ordered the avacado toast on an Asiago bagel and when I received it, it was very cold and the avacado was so unripe it was insane. Wasn’t even fully smashed, tasted awful and you could physically smell that it was not ripe. The food was terrible, not to mention the girl that took my order was not attentive to me in the slightest and did not seem to care about what I was saying. Again, I know this doesn’t happen all the time, but this was a serious disappointment especially because they upcharge the food so much and it’s toward the end of the semester when everyone is getting pretty low on dining dollars.

When I order iced coffee here, they want to charge me an expensive price of an iced latte, or gave me a cup where I ask for ice to fill up hot coffee at the drink station which I prefer. The bagels are ok, but pricy. I feel like at the price point you might as well get an iced coffee/latte and nourish food at GCBC upstairs or at roadrunners.

on a private university. DON’T GO HERE! you can’t get in.

Overall it's really good and not too overpriced.The one thing is, is that I don't understand the criteria for whether they will toast your bagel because, let me tell you, cold bagels are not where it's at...
