Ordered 2 bacon burritos and they both have absolutely no bacon. Just cheese egg & potato. There was no one there besides me I’m confused how this mistake could happen?

Got the chorizo, papas, cheese and egg breakfast burrito today. I thought it was okay as it lacked flavor. I think it was due to mainly having potatoes and eggs and not much chorizo. Not sure if I would give it a second try.
El Jefe supported (donated) a very generous breakfast to our Veterans appreciation group this morning. Julio’s team was extremely helpful and fun to work with - and the food was delicious! I can’t wait to have a dine in experience with them the next time I’m in Awhatukee!
Its Monday November 3rd. Made the drive for my co-workers and the doors are shut. Online says open at 8AM and door says open at 8AM. One guy is walking around. Please fix the hours. I wasted alot of time getting breakfast burritos here for our crew.

I had the best breakfast burrito, salsa, and horchata of my entire life at El Jefe. Everything is cooked fresh to perfection. The salsas and horchata are made in house, and you can tell. I've never had salsa from a restaurant taste better than homemade until I ate here. The horchata was the perfect blend of sweet and cinnamon. It tasted like drinking a churro. The owner and employees were so friendly. Couldn't have had a better time. I am going to become a frequent visitor here!

The salsa at this place is DELICIOUS! We got birria tacos. The meat was more of a stew meat than I'm used to but the taco with the broth to dip it in really hit the spot. We also shared Al Pastor nachos and I was super impressed! They give you so much cheese and toppings. It was a nice touch they put everything like sour cream and guac on the side so they were still perfectly crunchy by the time we got home with our takeout. Definitely will be back!

The food here was not worth the price. I’m use to the Mesa location that serves great food but when I visit here it was terrible. The birria tacos were soooo dry like sand paper. The consome was flavorless. The chicken taco meat was cold and dried up flavor. The staff was nice and polite but I’m so disappointed in my food.

Ugh, the food has gotten so bad, and the service is so unwelcoming. Used to be my go to for breakfast but my last burrito was flavorless and gross. I asked for hot salsa, I got a salsa that somehow also had no flavor or heat.
