Visited El Nopalito on a trip to Arizona from Florida, and wow—what an experience! We were on the hunt for a fire taco spot and specifically craving fried nopalitos. Turns out that’s not exactly a standard item… but the amazing owner made it happen anyway. And when I say BOMB—I mean we’re still talking about those tacos and nopalitos!
The meat was incredibly tender and perfectly sautéed—clearly made with love.
The hospitality, kindness, and genuine care they put into their food and service made the visit unforgettable. Ever since getting back home, our local taco spots just don’t hit the same. We each had about six tacos (would’ve kept going if we didn’t have a flight to catch!).
Please, do yourself a favor and visit this place. Bring business here—you won’t be disappointed. Can’t wait to come back on my next trip!

I stopped in for a California Burrito to go and got some excellent service. The woman who took my order made sure to bring me both salsas to try while I waited to see I wanted red and green. She also got me a glass of water and explained how everything there is made fresh. The burrito was excellent and I would 100% return. Really great spot.

Holy Mole!!! This was the best. What a find on my way to the Sedona area from the airport. I took a different route than many and stumbled in by chance. Don't miss this one. Chicken and Mole was outstanding.

I had just finished a morning of kayaking on the lower salt river and was famished! Really wanted to try nopalitos and googled. So glad I went here. The staff were friendly and welcoming! The shop was clean and artsy, and the food was incredible!!! Nopalitos carnitas with Green Salsa & corn tortillas was spectacular! My server gave me some red salsa to try with it. Thank you for an excellent dining experience. If I’m ever back in Phoenix area I’ll definitely be back for more! ❤️👍

Everything is fine, the lady who serves Guadalupe is very kind and attentive. Answer questions about takeout and in large quantities, the barbecue is very good.

The truth is that I really love the lamb barbecue, the truth is that I didn't think the flavor was very good and they didn't have any spicy sauce and sometimes they bring me a sauce and they sold me some roasted chiles that I didn't ask for and they charged me for them... maybe there are other people You might like it but for my part I didn't like that place at all.
