Since I arrived in Phoenix 5 years ago, I had not eaten at a Pollo Loco, the person who served me was an African-American man, and to my surprise, he was the kindest person there (the other employee was Mexican). I always try to be kind where I make my lunch, I tried to be nice to them by smiling and saying hello, but they were hostile to me, but John (a black guy) was very sweet, kind, and did his job with pleasure. I give him 5 stars, the other employees should learn from him.

They get 3 stars because the food is half descent for a fast food restaurant. However, the service leaves a lot to be desired. Twice in a row, i got home and realised the order was not fully fulfilled. It's very frustrating. CHECK YOUR ORDER (FOOD) before you leave!!!

It seems like different Pollo Locos have different policies. The cashiers were just talking to eat other in the front while customer were waiting. They take a longer than normal to get your food and they were out of chicken today. So they made my daughter burrito without chicken without telling us and it was very skimpy . Worst Pollo around..

Fantastic chicken done fresh on the grill in front of you. Nice variety of dishes to choose from with different sides. The salsa is made there from mild to hot. I'm never disappointed. Prices are reasonable.

Just wondering, but shouldn't the Queso Guacamole Chicken burrito have chicken in it? I had about 4 tiny pieces of chicken and a LOT of rice. Very disappointing.
