Tried the new chicken chipotle quesadilla. Was very disappointed the tortilla held about a quarter of a chicken breast if that. Requested guacamole on the inside as advertised on the website, and when I picked up my food and stated there was no guacamole on the inside I was told it's only on the side. Had to ask for the napkin dispenser to be refilled as it was out of napkins, lemonade was not adequate no sweetness to it at all. Overall not the best experience I've had at an El Pollo loco. I will not be returning to that location, however I will try another location and see if the quality of the food is better.

No corn tortillas, no small cups, guy charged me for drinks and didn't tell me the fountain didn't work. The mashed potatoes and Mac N cheese were hot but the chicken was just slightly above warm. Will not be coming at back.

Walked in to use restroom... locked with code... but the whole place smelled like sewage, like a rotten egg smell. Just Couldn't do it. Guy at counter was nice though.

Pollo Loco employees grab cups that homeless people bring in and fill them up with ice and water which is fine I know it’s quite hot outside but it’s very unsanitary. I observed employees grab their cups and give them back and return to work without washing their hands or being clean about it. This is concerning. I didn’t feel comfortable finishing my meal because I don’t know how clean the employees. I would skip this location.

Not a great location. Love to visit El Pollo loco when we come out west. Restaurant was empty but had to walk around most of the place to find a clean table. Quesadilla was cold, cheese wasn't melted, flour tortillas were crunchy in their little plastic bags. No horchata and no sign to indicate it didn't work, got a cup half full of water. Someone else also came in and made the same mistake.
Had to go back to the counter a few times to obtain items that were forgotten from our order.
Also asked to skip an item in one of the bowls and still got it anyways. Chicken and pinto beans were hot and fresh. Everything else was meh.
