We were looking for a new restaurant and found this hidden gem! The food was amazing. There is definitely some great Mexican food, super authentic and almost homemade. We ordered a Totra de asada, quesadilla de asada, and a sope. Everything was so good that we ended up ordering another plate of enchiladas, and again, the taste was amazing! 8/10-10/10 for everything, amazing place!

They have delicious food, but unfortunately this restaurant slacks on customer service. Every time I call to place a pick up order they act like it’s such a an inconvenience! They will put you on hold for 10/15 minutes and completely forget they put you on hold, this issue has happened too many times that at this point it seems intentional.
The cashier always has a bad attitude and seems like she hates her job.

Food is good but the service from the cashier and waitress is bad. They respond with attitude when asking questions about the menu cashier replied in bad mood, doesn’t know the prices of the food and waitress kind of slamming the plates on the table when serving. They have instant coffee that customer have to prepare themselves instead of having a coffee maker, wont recommend

This is by far THE BEST FAMILY FRIENDLY, FAMILY ORIENTED ,MOST TRADITIONAL MOM N POPS MEXICAN RESTAURANT IN THE WHOLE STATE OF ARIZONA!!! The delicious flavors, the great attitude and amazing service takes you back in time to your grandparents home and how welcoming your family was when it was time to eat, and just spend the best quality time with your love ones while enjoying the most delicious Mexican meals!!! I wish there were more stars to rate this great restaurant!!!

Service needs work.

First. I ordered coffee and seemed to confuse the server with the word coffee because i had to repeat it. Apparently, I should have said Cafe. (Language barrier)

Sat down and another server came and told me they don't have anymore coffee and if I wanted something else. Common when restaurants run out so, I was ok with it. I then notice they use instant coffee and there were 2 containers with coffee crystals in them. I also find out they made coffee for someone else after me. Like wtf, is it because I didn't ask for Cafè?

Anyway. I ordered a bowl of albondigas and a chorizo and egg burrito.

The bowl was smaller than a dollar store bowl. (Small potion size) and cost $16. While the flavor was great, I say it's not worth it.

Chorizo and eggs burrito was mid so, nothing to write home about.

Music was much louder than should have been which made for a struggled conversation.

Will not go back, even though the food flavor was good enough to go back for.

Expensive and the dishes are very small, they only have one size of Menude, which anywhere is the mini and they give it to you for 14 dollars. It is my first and last time, I only went because the place where I am going was bursting at the seams, which is the Guanajuato Menuderia. . This place is terrible, I just wasted my money 🙁

Food is really good but service needs major improvement. I stood in line for 15 minutes to order while the cashiers flirted with the guys ordering. The younger girl was very moody and the older white skinned lady preferred to flirt with men instead of taking my order. My family and i have been coming to El Ranchero since 2000’s. The owners are really nice but they need to hire cashiers that are nice to ALL customers not just men they can flirt with.

I’m from out of town was looking for some good Mexican food and this is the spot! I got two carne asada tacos amazing and it was so fresh! I’m a little rusty on my Spanish but they worked with our language barrier. I had an aqua refresca as well (didn’t catch the name but the one in the middle) it is amazing! I have to get some more before heading back to GA!

Parking: Parking is okay unless they are busy you may have to park on the far back steeet to walk but it’s worth it!
