Best carne asada tacos in Phoenix! This food is made with love. No it's not a fancy place or anything like that, but the food is absolutely delicious. If you are searching "best tacos in Phoenix" you must try this place.

What a delightful discovery on my way to the nearby post office! The people at this place are fantastic, creating a friendly and welcoming atmosphere. I ordered the steak tacos, which were a perfect 10/10. They came with grilled onions and jalapeño peppers. This spot has now become my go-to for delicious tacos.

Best al pastor I've had north of the border, about as authentic as it gets. Any of the other meats they have are great too but do yourself a favor and try the al pastor. All the salsas tend to be on the mild side but the tacos almost don't even need them.

I’ve been coming here once a week since I found this place…it’s quickly turning into an addiction LOL. I love the carnitas and my fiancée loves the carne asada. The salsa bar is so convenient! Very friendly and welcoming people work here. I’ve only ever had great service, even during their dinner and lunch rushes. Safe to say we found our new favorite taco spot!

Delicious Birria, my favorite new spot!
I love this place. I'm here in town, hanging out with mom for Thanksgiving, visiting from Denver... and I want tacos... tacos like I can get at my local taqueria back home. Mom says she's up for whatever I can find and when I saw the photos and read the google reviews for El Super Taco I could tell that this place was my jam. It's the real deal. Tortillas were excellent, meats were nicely seasoned. (For my mom, who's used to more gringo-style Mexican fare, it was a bit on the too-salty and too-hot side). Mom had pollo and pastor and I had a variety of pastor, asada, camaron, carnitas and chicharron. All were delicious, though I'd say that the faves in my sampler were chicharron and asada, but that camaron taco had this great creamy sauce on it that totally satisfied and I wanted to get another one to confirm, but I was too stuffed at that point for it to be worthwhile. The tacos are of the smaller size, but they double-up on the corn tortillas because they are also positively loaded with meats. Back home at Taqueria Mi Pueblo, I can stuff myself with 6 tacos. At El Super Taco, it's an 8-10 taco affair to reach the same plumpness that makes you want to take a nap afterwards. The upside is that you can swing for more variety in your taco exploration! I scanned the menu as I left and I'm sorta interested in bopping down there later in the week to get one of their tortas and maybe a burro or two, but I saw birrias there, as well, so I have a lot of work to do I guess. The restaurant is clean and the salsa bar is well-appointed (pot-o-hot-frijoles, pickled carrots & jalapenos in there, too, and a diablo salsa that's [chef_kiss]), there's a decent selection of the regular taqueria sodas (Jarritos, Fanta, Mexi-coke) as well. They have a bunch of different bottled hot sauces if that's a requirement, too. Lady at the counter was friendly and helpful and had some good suggestions for my mom, too, who was a little intimidated by all the different choices. Everything was cooked so fast. It feels like it's best as a lunch place, but we were there for dinnertime and it was fairly quiet and laid back. The ONLY thing this place was missing was beer... and when it comes down to it, beer's not half as important as the good food, nice clean floors and tables, great salsa selection and helpful people to put everything together for you in such a quick and efficient way. This is the kind of place that can use more business, with a nice and simple menu that doesn't seem likely to change or become overly fancy. I love this place, and I think you will, too!

We were looking for an authentic Mexican restaurant and found this highly rated one on google. We were not disappointed. Once we walked in, we had the cashier explain the menus to us and we placed our order. The food was fantastic and the portions were very good.

The Al Pastor tacos are some of the best I have ever had. The meat is tender and juicy and you can put whatever toppings you want at the salsa bar. Go on Tuesday to get them at a discounted price. The horchatas are very good as well.
