I ordered 2 pounds of roast to go and they only gave me 1.1 pounds, it's a shame I realized it at home and I live 2 hours away.

I'm not an adventurous eater, more burgers and fries guy. Although I have burritos regularly I had never tried tacos, especially from an authentic spot. Since we were in the Southwest it seemed like the thing to do. Being old and white I stood out like a sore thumb. The employees couldn't have been nicer. They were patient as we checked the menu board. They explained a few things to us and were busy cleaning up for the evening. It was a real cool experience for me and the food was delicious. The only negative was the monitors were playing an untalented youtube dj/?dancer? who although was playing Latin music had no connection to the culture.

Like good old times! We recently went for dinner with my mom and family and had a special for $60 that includes 2lbs of meat of your choice (asada, pollo o al pastor) the meat was fresh, tender and clean, no fat just like we remember and the corn tortillas were freshly made, they are big, soft and delicious 😋 ❤️ we moved far so we haven't been here in a long time and it was nice to see it is still as good as we remember. Angel and Griselda were great and attended to my mom's strict taste, they even gave us a sample of their meat to make sure she would like it, which she loved! Please consider this place if you are looking for fresh, authentic Mexican food around central Phoenix, gracias Angel y Griselda!
