Emergency Room at Arizona General Hospital Ahwatukee - Phoenix, AZ

WARNING- I do not believe the positive reviews are real. I swore I'd never come here again when they discriminated against me for being autistic . But my mom (80) fell and the urgent cares were busy. This place is EVERYTHING wrong with health care. They want to do unnecessary things and CT Scan you for everything (my guess- to pay for the machine). When I said I was worried about the radiation the Dr. said "it doesn't matter with your mom SHE'S OLD ANYWAY." And my mom's hand started shaking and she got this sad look in her eyes and said "I don't matter because I'm old." He just smiled. I should have taken her out then but she was in pain. They did find fractured ribs, then sent her to the main ER which was TOTALLY UNNECESSARY, and caused my mom more pain and stress. The other ER just released her because she fell 5 days ago, anyway. It's all about money, there's nothing about dignity with Dignity. They are a dishonest, money grubbing Disgrace. Please do not believe the "good reviews."

To say a trip to the ER was amazing is not something i thought i would ever utter in my lifetime however Dr White and my attending nurse Shannon were exceptionally kind,patient and empathetic throughout making the experience as pleasant as it could possibly be given the circumstances. I cannot offer enough praise for the team Dignity Health for making sure my time with them was short and handled with the utmost professionalism with clear consideration for the patients comfort and seeing the receive the best possible care.

Came in with a broken finger and the medical staff was amazing. Very professional, informative but more importantly from a patient perspective great bedside manner. They put me at ease and took care of me and were quick

If taking your child to this ER , DO NOT DO IT!!!
Take your child/ren to an actual children’s or Pediatric hospital. (Took my infant daughter to Banner Health Pediatrics ER-HIGHLY RECOMMENDED🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟)

ABSOLUTE IMBECILES WORK AT THIS ER!!! We were on Thanksgiving holiday visiting family from out of state, our toddler got ill, so as GOOD caring parents we took him into the nearest ER, next to our family’s house, to make sure it wasn’t Flu/RSV/COVID.
Our nurse who immediately greeted us with an ugly attitude towards us, was by far the worst. She didn’t take my sons vitals properly. Had to call her back into the room to plug in his oxygen pulsar & got irritated with that. Then there’s the doctor who thought his “medical advice” was irrevocable, only his word mattered & we as the parents knew no better than him, about our own child’s health.
Mind you, this is our 6th child out of 7 being seen.
Long story short, we chose to decline their medical advice as our right to do so, especially since we are his parents & DO KNOW HIM BETTER THAN SOME RANDOM Medical PERSONNEL.
This doctor & nurse decided to call Arizona CPS & Police on us because we didn’t do as they said.
Needless to say we didn’t return any phone calls ‘til after the holiday & got back to our home State.
As we already knew our son was perfectly fine the very next day swimming in the hotel pool.
