The tavern is great when Kristy is the bar tender there. She is so fun to talk to. Very prompt service and attention to detail. Lots of stories and life experiences. Shes actually a bee keeper and has a bee rescue business.
The food and beer are priced right.I had a burger and fries today. To be honest I didn't expect much. To my surprise the burger was great. Fries were also really good. My friends had brats. They said they were tasty. $6 for a burger and fries? Hard to beat at that price.For an inexpensive place to get a meal you won't go wrong.
This is a quaint little travel next to the golf pro shop and Encanto Park. It's kind of hidden away but worth finding. It was recently remodeled and serves as a great place to grab a beer while you cool down or to meet up with friends to watch a game...lots of TVs. It's never been busy but that'll probably change with the weather.
