I can't say enough about Fat Freddy's Catering! They catered our daughter's wedding with approximately 140 guests. They were so helpful from the very first phone call. Kandyce was great and helped us come up with the perfect menu. Their food was amazing and we got so many compliments! But, honestly, their staff is what really made them phenomenal! They were professional, on time and continually asking what they could do to help us beyond the scope of their responsibilities! The whole crew went above and beyond with smiles and sincere enthusiasm. They also incorporated some of our decorations into their setup which was so thoughtful.

This review is coming from someone who used to own a catering business in Florida and a food lover who eats out a lot, today I had this food that was catered to an event in Tempe, AZ that I’m attending and OH MY GOD!!! Was this food good? IT WAS AMAZING!! The presentation, the freshness, clean, tasty, hot food!!! I did not take pictures of the food because I was waiting to eat it first, all I got was the dessert in a picture but I had creamy chicken, pot roast, mash potatoes, brown gravy, salad, dinner roll, soda and yes, I mentioned I love food! I also ate what you see in this picture!! LOVE, LOVE, LOVED this business!! I think this event has nearly 500 people, everyone was talking about how good the food was!! The only thing I didnt like is, everyone after eating was falling asleep! They probably couldn’t get enough and kept eating like I did!!! LOL Kudos to whoever owns this place, the cook and the staff attending the event!! I totally recommend them!

The cleanup was equally impressive — by the end of the night, our home was back to its original state. Carson was our point of contact and he was so helpful in assisting us with sandwich choices and making special accommodations for our gluten free guests. We chose the Club sandwiches, the chicken Caesar wraps, and the Italian roll-ups. They were all a hit! They were delivered to our event at the exact time we had specified. This is our second time using Fat Freddy’s and we know it won’t be our last. Thank you so much for making our daughter’s special day memorable and stress free!

At our tasting, after we took our first bites, I looked over to her to see if she liked it, and she had the widest eyes! She loved it! So we booked right away. She loved it so much that she even asked for leftovers to bring to my dad. I would recommend them to anyone looking for a caterer for their next event!

About a month before Thanksgiving, I placed a catering order with Fat Freddy’s for a 40-person family reunion. Since I live out of state, the company was recommended by a local Scottsdale resident, and I had to put a lot of trust in them to deliver our Thanksgiving meal — they absolutely came through.
Customer Service: From the initial phone order, to email communication regarding food allergies, to delivery at my hotel the day before Thanksgiving, the customer service was consistently quick, kind, and professional. The delivery driver was especially friendly and immediately put me at ease, reinforcing that I had chosen the right caterer for such an important meal. He also provided clear, printed reheating instructions, which was greatly appreciated since the food was delivered ahead of Thanksgiving Day.
Quality & Portions: The turkey and ham were moist, flavorful, and perfectly prepared, as were all of the sides. I followed Fat Freddy’s portion recommendations, and even with 40 people, we still had plenty left over for later — always a great sign.
Only regret was I didn't snag photos of the spread.
If I lived in the area, I would absolutely use Fat Freddy’s for every event, from large family gatherings to school functions.

Our annual Christmas Party was an amazing hit with the delicious food supplied by Fat Freddie’s! The two servers,Rachel and Cody were so professional and attentive. Rachel arrived early, set up a beautiful buffet table and took care of every detail, right down to packing the left overs! I would highly recommend Fat Freddie’s to anyone who needs a caterer!

Everyone told us the food was great, and our server Dan was extremely helpful and professional and remembered things we'd forgotten about providing like tablecloths and extra plates and forks for the dessert.
