There are some good things to order here and some things to steer clear of. Portion sizes are always good and that's why people come here. I recommend keeping it simple. Get a pollo asada burrito or a bean and cheese. I like spicy but all the salsas are ridiculously hot, wish they had a little milder one on deck.

I was recently visiting friends in Phoenix and stopped by Filiberto's on my last day in town. I only ordered a junior Adobada Burrito since I wasn't super hungry, but I was really pleased with my selection. The pork was a bit greasy, but this was a perfect match for the other ingredients. The cabbage in particular was a nice addition since it gave the burrito a fresh crisp/crunch. The tortilla was nicely browned and didn't get soggy from the pork, though it didn't have much time since I ate it rather quickly. My biggest disappointment was that the restaurant was only a few blocks from my friends' house and I went only once. :)

Come on guys, everytime we've ordered a ground beef burrito, the cooks dont drain the grease off the spoon first. This time there was so much grease inside the burrito, it was like soup inside a tortilla. Unbelievable. The grease soaked through the wrapper, through the entire brown bag, leaked onto my belongings in 5 minutes AND THERE WAS STILL SO MUCH GREASE LEFT on the outside of the burrito. See my pics.

Went inside for the first time after usually going through the drive through. It's concerning to say the least. Smells like an open sewer in the dining room. Genuinely sickening.Send a health inspector in here. It literally smells like feces.
Drive thru was convenient but they were pretty skimpy on my Burrito. I asked for extra cheese on a country burrito it ended up looking more like a rolled quesadilla. There was hardly any potatoes and eggs. Disappointed.

So we love filibertos but this place is extremely filthy. Sorry but have to be honest. My wife and i were wondering why more people didn't eat inside but after being there for five minutes waiting for food we wondered no more. The people are always very nice bit the overall cleanliness has eroded over time.
