Had to check out if this place was all hype, but I think it is actually pretty good. A lil tighter spaced restaurant but we managed to fit us 6 fine at our table, everyone enjoyed their food! My drink was very strong, but I think everyone else liked theirs. Gotta come back to try the viral lunch sandwich

Sandwiches are excellent and great spot for lunch. Enough to split if you want a lighter lunch. Cashier was a bit abrupt and rude.
The loud music was crude, sexual, racial slang and low-quality songs that detracted from the dining experience and disrespectful to the guests.

Kept seeing this place on social media, drove 2+ hrs. to try it and was sadly disappointed. The establishment itself was cute, the food however was mediocre at best. The “customer service” well … pretty much non existent. People working there were not welcoming nor friendly and seemed to be bothered doing their job. Ironically, this will be the First & Last time I come to this place.

I’ve had First & Last in Phoenix on my list for a while, and I finally had the chance to go with my daughter, Zoey, who’s here for cheer camp. We had such a special dinner—everything was beyond our expectations!

We chose the three-course dinner and shared each dish, which made the whole experience even better.

To start, Zoey had the peaches with burrata—a combination I never would’ve expected to love, but it was perfection. The sweetness of the peaches paired so beautifully with the creamy burrata. I had the carrots, and they were melt-in-your-mouth tender. The onions and shallots on top took the flavor to another level.

Zoey’s entrée was the Bacon Sourdough Bolognese—rich, hearty, and packed with flavor. I had the CRISPY CHICKEN ALLA PISTOIA, and I’m still thinking about it. The chicken was crispy outside, tender inside, and came over the creamiest lima beans I’ve ever had. I’m not usually a lima bean fan, but somehow they worked so perfectly here.

Then came dessert: the Crème Caramel. Total no-brainer. It was a cool, silky vanilla custard topped with a house-made caramel sauce that was absolutely divine. We didn’t leave a single bite behind.

The service was excellent, the space is adorable and cozy, and the food? Next level. First & Last is an absolute gem and a must-try in Phoenix. We’ll be back for sure!

Sat at the bar, steak frites were great and the margarita was refreshing.

Went for lunch and had 2 sandwiches (little Jerry and the maestro) and 2 slices of margarita pizza. Little pricey for it was but all the food was full of flavor and tasty. My only problem was with the focaccia itself which everything was made with. Some of the focaccia was rubbery for lack of a better word. You could imagine how that texture makes a sandwich hard to eat when you can’t get a clean bite and are having to really gnaw at the bread. Especially given the sandwiches are quite thick. Maybe it was just a bad batch, but I prefer my focaccia to be softer, especially for a sandwich. The bites that had softer focaccia were excellent though, so maybe we just had a bad batch

My wife and I enjoyed a superb lunch. We split the Maestro sandwich, which was extremely delicious, the best of that style that we have ever eaten, and of a proportion significantly large enough for us both.

We are already looking forward to returning, not just for lunch, but for dinner.

We had a really nice time. The staff were awesome. The food was really good. It was my birthday and they brought us a little champagne toast. We did the Sunday supper. The peaches and barrata were very tasty. It was a lot for a small plate and some of the peaches were pretty hard. My husband had the antipasto salad. It was amazing. Could have been a meal all its own. He got the crispy chicken and that was really yummy. I got the pasta with mushrooms and tomato cream sauce. I would have liked it more creamy but that's my preference. We both had the creme caramel and that was super decadent and delicious. A great way to cap the meal. We definitely had leftovers. Overall it was a good experience.

This was 2nd time at restaurant. It was excellent during 1st time. 2nd time, raved about the food & brought a friend, but was disappointed. We ordered the steak sandwich & the foccacia bread was hard (not soft & tasty like the first time). Also, not as tasty. I don't think my friend will be coming back. I may give it another try based upon my first experience.
