Excellent ambiance and incredible hospitality of all members of the Flint team. Perfect evening for a birthday celebration! Thank you!
Beautiful setting. Food was good but massively overpriced. I ordered the Branzino which was recommended by the staff. It was like $45. Typically when you order this dish it's the whole fish. I was really surprised to see a lone thin, small side of fish sitting alone on the plate. Others in my group ordered pizza which looked good and a salmon skewer, which again was a single skewer of salmon alone on a plate. I understand that they are trying to be a main + sides restaurant but it's a bit over the top. Service was slow but friendly.
Flint is a great place to relax in a modern open space. The service was good but not great. Our food took quite a bit while other tables that arrived after us received their food ahead of us. This was disappointing
Drinks weren't that great for the price. My filet was over cooked when asked for pink center, and waited 20 min untill server came to check on us to tell him about the steak, he was busy but checking consistently would had made a difference but wasnt happening. Waited another 10 min for my new steak. The food and service soured my experience as my first time going there, will not go again nor do I recommend.
Service was exceptional and elements of the meal were good but for the price point I expected glasses of wines that were not marked up 3x's the cost of the bottle, medium waguyu that was not over seared, and a dining room that doubles as a noisy sports bar.. fine but I wouldn't return
This restaurant used to be one of my husband and I's favorites. We would always go here after a movie at AMC and we have celebrated many a special occasion here but, unfortunately, we are going to have to break up. Seriously. We took out of town friends/family here in October and then again went with another couple in November after a movie. They have removed many of our favorites off the menu including the bone marrow and the grilled artichokes. They have added new alte so we tried the tuna crudo. Not good. Served with a smoked tomato vinaigrette that just didn't seem to go with the tuna. Both my husband and I hated it. The short rib hummus serving size looked to be half what it used to be. We tried the Moroccan Fried Chicken which we had never ordered before because our favorites were no longer available and it was overcooked and dried out (pic attached of the two pieces that were so burnt, they were inedible) and strangely served with ranch dressing (described as tahini ranch but it tasted like plain ole ranch) and marinara sauce. When I asked for a side of the yogurt dressing they have, as that seemed way more appropriate to a Moroccan chicken dish, I received the smallest ramekin you could imagine (it looks kinda big in the attached pic but it is distorted; it was tiny) and then found they charged me $5 for it! Lastly, maybe we have mostly ordered bottles of wine in the past but this time everyone wanted different things, so we ordered glasses and it turns out they refrigerate (not at a proper temp but real cold refrigeration) their red wines by the glass. It is simply unacceptable. Usually, poor restaurants do this to try to stretch out how long they can serve a glass of red, but it ruins the wine and just ends up seeming like they are trying to hide bad wine. Crazy unacceptable for a restaurant of this caliber. Our poor server, who seemed newish, tried to make excuses and one of my dining partners was just like please don't.
Excellent place for a nice date. I'd describe it as a fresh take on Mediterranean with strong drinks.
The filet skewer was so tasty and tender, as was the humus with short ribs and the carrot side dish. Mixed drinks were also very GooD. We had the margarita and the Old Fashioned. Will definitely go back !
I had the sword fish and it was excellent. My wife and her friend had multiple appetizers and they were fantastic too. Will definitely come back again.
Flint by Baltaire offers one of the best happy hour experiences in town. The food selection and pricing are absolutely stellar—every dish feels like a great value without sacrificing quality. The glass of red wine I had was impressively smooth and flavorful, especially for the price point. Between the delicious food, well-crafted drinks, and genuinely excellent staff, I'll definitely be coming back again and again.

I decided to surprise my significant other to a romantic dinner at what should be a “nice and high end” restaurant. It was our anniversary and we wanted to go somewhere were we would be treated and have a great experience. Upon arrival the host was very friendly and acknowledged our anniversary and quickly sat us. Our server introduced herself by the name of Sam and asked us what we wanted to drink. No greeting, no guest connection, no recommendations, no explanation of the restaurant what's so ever. She very much just asked to take the order and that was all. Seriously not a single smile and we were there to celebrate! She asked if we were ready to order as if it was a quick diner style place... we order and asked for a medium rare filet with truffle butter. Once we received our food there was no truffle butter because it was not Rang in. So when we ask for it again we are told there's an up charge for that as if we weren't aware when we ordered it the first time. So we had to wait another 9 minutes for the butter as our food sat and got cold. The food however was delicious. We had one round of cocktails and We were never asked if we wanted a second drink. We decided to cut dinner short and finish off our night by getting dessert and wine bottle else where. We so badly wanted this to be a great experience but our server never acknowledged our anniversary or showed any personality through out the experience. If there was a manager present table touching through out the dinning room we would most certainly have given feedback in person. How ever there was not one in sight. When people chose your establishment to spend their money your staff needs to recognize that there is a lot of competition in this growing fine dining business. Management seriously needs to give a class on hospitality before season starts or there will be many more reviews similar to this. If we knew that this was the service we were getting we 100% would've chosen to celebrate somewhere else.
This place is a real gem. The service was top notch and the decor was very unique and modern. We loved every dish we tried. We had whipped feta and tuna tartare to start then we split a ribeye. The flavors were amazing and the presentation was spot on.
Great dinner at Flint last night. Our waiter J.P. had to have been one of the three best waiters I've had in my lifetime. His service, attention to detail and positive attitude were all incredible!
Best happy hour in Phoenix, hands down. The bartender and the chef both went above and beyond to make sure I had a gluten-free burger, and it was honestly one of the best I’ve had in a long time. It’s rare to find that level of care and accommodation, especially during a busy happy hour. The cocktails are fantastic creative, balanced, and served with a smile. The vibe is fun without being too loud, and the service makes you feel like a regular even on your first visit. This place has definitely become my new go-to.
