There are much better places nearby—seriously, almost anywhere else would be an upgrade. The service was painfully slow and completely inattentive. We spent more time wondering where our server was than actually eating. When the food finally arrived, it was terrible and honestly not worth the wait. To top it off, the drinks weren’t even what we ordered. At that point it felt less like dinner and more like a very expensive experiment in disappointment. Safe to say we won’t be coming back.

As a travel agent who eats at restaurants all over the country, I can honestly say that Forks and Boards serves some of the best food I’ve ever had! For around $15 per person, every bite was perfection. The chicken strips were perfectly juicy with a crispy, satisfying crunch, and the onion rings were huge, golden, and absolutely delicious. The real star of the show, though, was Gil’s Garlic Buffalo Sauce — we ended up putting it on everything and even wished we could take a bottle home! To top it all off, Chef Gilbert himself came out to greet us, asked how we were enjoying our meal, and made us feel genuinely valued as guests. That personal touch made the experience even more memorable. If you’re anywhere near this place, do yourself a favor and go. Forks and Boards is a true gem — five stars all the way! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Looked at thier app, went to order a 9.99 cheese pizza, but when you have to choose options it makes you select cheese for a 1.00 more. Or other toppings for the same price. That feels deceptive when it says 9.99 but then you have to add at least a dollar more.

I decided to just get a cookie instead. Ordered a salt brownie cookie. They were out so I got a chocolate chip cookie instead.
The cookie was so dry and bland. Better food elsewhere.

I've been coming to F&B and GG N. Phoenix since they opened. The staff at these establishments are some of the most honest and virtuous people you will meet. Every dietary restraint is accommodated to the best of their ability, every complaint is handled with a level of respect and care expected of the finest dining establishments. The quality of food and service of this small business is, I dare say, second to none. My personal choice is the Bounty Hunter Fries, and staff ALWAYS hooks me up, and the deals and connection between both Forks & Boards and Gamers Guild make this a place I will always spend my money.

I love Gamer's Guild. I am a regular customer there and member. However, Forks and Boards needs some serious quality control implemented. I never order food there if there is a big event happening: movie night, learn to play, and so on. This is because, without fail, any time there is a large gathering of people ordering food from there, the quality dips tremendously. This can either range from your food being overcooked, sauces being spilled on your food in to-go bag, or your food coming out stone cold, not lukewarm, cold, on fried items too. I want better for Forks and Boards. This is all coming from a loving place, because when the food is good, it is great. However, when it is not, it stings since the prices are a bit steep for anything below exceptional quality. Recently I had a chicken tender combo where the chicken was hot and fresh, but the fries were pale and limp. I also ordered $10 worth of onion rings which did not appear to be much of a different portion from the sides one; these were also very cold. There was no big event this night either.

I attended a Learn to Play last month and my breakfast chicken tenders were one deep brown shade away from being black. I ate one and tossed the rest.

Also every time I have ordered loaded fries and requested no sour cream, it always comes with sour cream anyways and I have to send it back (these two instances were a month apart).

I want to be able to reccomend Forks and Boards to my friends without hesitation, but as it stands, I cannot.

This is my second negative experience with Forks & Boards. The staff are are incredibly friendly and the menu is well marked but I was just served and ate the regular chicken tender meal after three separate staff assured me the food was celiac safe and that I would be well taken care of.
The server specifically said “here are the gluten free chicken tenders” and placed them in front of me. Having three people assure me my food would be safe, I had no reason to suspect I got the wrong food. Especially since I’d never eaten this before and not knowing what it should look like. It was only after about 10+ minutes later that another new server came out with my correct chicken and said “oh I’m sorry we gave you the wrong chicken tenders.”

We ordered all of our appetizers as gluten free, my fries were gluten free, how of all things my entree was not, baffles me.
Not only that, the gluten free version of the chicken tenders that they brought out after, looked wildly different from the regular ones. There are no pictures on the menu so I couldn’t tell beforehand, but your servers should KNOW just by looking at what they’re serving, which version it is. And your cooks should be paying attention to the orders.

My last experience here they served me the regular version of the French dip burger, assuring me it was gluten free. It looked too good to be gluten free to me, and so I waited to ask the server when she came back, only to confirm yes it was the wrong version.

If you dare to eat here, ask not only when you order, but several times to multiple different people as to whether your meal is indeed gluten free when it comes out. I’m now severely sick and will not be eating here ever again.
Please train your staff better, celiac disease is a horrifically painful thing to suffer and recover from, with a several month long healing period. And if you are assuring people it is celiac safe, you need to damn well know that it is.
This is no longer a safe restaurant for me and do not recommend it.

This was our second time having issues here. My girlfriend has celiac. A lot on the menu said gluten free. Which is safe for us to eat but this is our second time our server/cook gave us gluten in her food. The first time a couple month back we asked for a french dip with out the onions since they were caramelized with gluten. We then get served those onions we do not want and it looked like they just scrapped the onions off the sandwich and reserved it to her. We had to make sure they didn’t do that and get a whole replacement because of this issues.

Today 3/1/2026 at 12:30. we ordered gluten free chicken tenders. 3 servers came out and said “I have a GLUTEN FREE CHICKEN TENDERS” so of course we payed no attention to it as they assured us it was the gluten free chicken tenders. So we ate with no idea that we were being gluten.
At 1:05… a different server came out and told us “this is the gluten free chicken tenders. we have made an accident.. how much have you had on the other plate.” My table is now looking all at each other in panic and we then packed up whatever we had and rushed to pharmacy and tried to find anything over the counter to help ease the pain and suffering.

Now it’s 3:30 and she is vomiting and having diarrhea. Already feeling weak and sluggish.

Overall, If you have celiac disease. Make sure to triple even quadruple check with every server and manager before even eating your food at this establishment. We actually really loved the environment and how friendly the staff was. Unfortunately we will not be coming back or eating from this place ever again. Please everyone train your staff to know of allergens and how the food looks like when coming out of the kitchen.

Absolutely loved this place! Whether you’re a gamer or not, it’s totally worth a visit. The food was excellent — perfectly cooked chicken tenders, amazing fries, and the fried pickles are an absolute must. Huge shoutout to our server Shannon, who was fantastic and made the experience even better. Wish we had a spot like this in New York!
