We hosted our wedding reception at Funky Frida’s and I can’t say enough good things about the entire experience. The ambiance and decor were absolutely everything: cozy, fun, perfectly eclectic, and upscale all at once. It truly set the tone for a night we’ll never forget.

We were lucky enough to attend the pre-opening event and were blown away! The regular and Habanero salsas were so good! The chips were crispy, the Al Pastor ‘Cigars’ and street corn were so amazing. The highlight was the stuff chili pepper- better than anything we have ever had. The lunch specials are so reasonably priced, as are the happy hour deals. The drinks were fantastic (try the Reaper Margarita!) and we will be regulars!! That was an excellent experience.

Funky Frida's is a vibrant local Mexican spot with an excellent atmosphere and delicious food. The space features super cool, funky decor with lots of colors and lights, offering both indoor and outdoor seating. The patio is dog-friendly and equipped with heaters, misters, and cozy fire pit areas, perfect for groups or families. The vibe is immaculate, making it one of the top coolest spots.
The menu is extensive with many gluten-free options. Everything is great, from the warm chips and salsa to the fresh salsas. Popular dishes include the chicken burrito bowl, which is the perfect size, the Baja enchiladas drenched in a delicious creamy sauce, the massive and cheesy chicken fundido, shrimp tostadas, guacamole, and the best queso. The tacos are a good size and great for Taco Tuesday. Portions are hefty and presentation is great.
There is a fantastic selection of fresh, well-made drinks. This includes many Margarita flavors like coconut lime and cilantro cucumber, signature OHSO sangrias, and beers like the boom dynamite IPA on tap. The happy hour is fantastic. Service is consistently great and welcoming. The space is huge and busy, but seating is efficient. A note is that the bathroom only has one stall. Overall, it's a 10/10 experience with great drinks, great food, and a fun, vibrant atmosphere.
