Have been here a few times now for Taco Tuesday and all of the filling options are great. Really nice patio and atmosphere at the bar or a table. Always nice to see the pups on the patio!

I’m so impressed! This is definitely my new favorite local mexican spot. I came when they first opened, gave it a few months, and have been back close to 5 times.
Everything i’ve had is great. I love their fresh salsas. Make sure to try them all. My favorite margs are the coconut lime and the cilantro cucumber. All of the drinks taste fresh and well made.
The chicken burrito bowl is the perfect size. I appreciate that they don’t overfill the plate with rice/beans. The presentation is also great, i would post a photo but I was too hungry. Tacos are a good size too. I also enjoyed the guacamole and enchiladas when I had them before.
I’m excited to keep coming back! I love the indoor/outdoor atmosphere.

I honestly don't understand how this place stays in business. The absolute worst part is their closing routine. They start cleaning up and getting ready to close one hour before they actually close. Why? Can't they wait until the customers are gone? It's incredibly rude and creates a rush that makes you feel like a burden just for wanting to grab a quick bite. If I were the manager, I would fire whoever decided this was a good idea because it completely ruins the customer experience. They clearly don't care about their patrons. I will never be back.

I don’t even know where to start—everything was a 10/10: the service, the food, the atmosphere.
We found this spot by chance during our trip to Scottsdale, and it ended up being the best surprise of the weekend. The décor is adorable, the space is huge, and it’s perfect for groups or families. There’s plenty of outdoor seating with heaters for chilly nights, cozy fire pit areas, and it’s dog-friendly, which I always love.
Christina was our server, and she truly elevated the entire experience. She offered thoughtful recommendations, let us sample the sangrias before choosing a pitcher, and was genuinely fun to chat with. She made my birthday feel special from start to finish. We’ll absolutely be requesting her every time we come back.
Now the food. I’ll admit, I expected it to be average—but I was completely wrong. The queso was the best I’ve ever had. I could have eaten it with a spoon. As a vegetarian, I really appreciated how knowledgeable Christina was about the menu. She proactively let me know which items used meat-based stocks and that the pinto beans contained pork—details I might not have thought to ask about. It’s always refreshing to have more than one or two safe options to choose from.
The rest of our group ordered the shrimp tostadas, osso buco, and a few combo entrées—everyone loved their dishes. For dessert, we tried the tres leches and the mini churros. The churros were perfect: fresh, hot, crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. The tres leches was the only item that didn’t quite hit for me.
Overall, 10/10 across the board. Do yourself a favor and request Christina.

I have only been once and do plan a return visit to nail in my verdict.
Let's start with Atmosphere, they really did an amazing job transforming the space. It's vibrant yet alluring, I need to see it at night to really appreciate the vibe they curated. I don't remember any music, which would have truly made a well round vibe.
Food: Yes. Well not the Street Corn was lacking Probably salt, but who am I. The Lobster roll on the appetizer menu was......a let down. The bun wasn't toasted/ buttered... How can you tout in New England roll and serve it as an after thought, absolutely boring, The Lobster didn't carry the weight of the lacking roll. On to Food, the Carne Adovaba was delicious 💯 will be back for that. Hats off to the chip make, and both of the salsa options were on point. I highly recommend the spicy habanero salsa.
Next visit will be desert.
Drink service was slow, it wasn't a full house and we still waited 15+ minutes for Margaritas that I am convinced had no tequila. I am not sure what industry standards are for service time.
Irregardless of my experience, I would recommend you give it a try, Uber there during peak hours S parking is a nightmare. Cheers

Just got sat at a table with menus then asked to sit back up and wait due to a mistake on the hostess’ part. Will never come back. I have a 2 year old…. This is unacceptable and your fault that you sat us down “incorrectly” - own your mistake!!!! Never had to get up from a table after being seated.

Stumbled upon Funky Fridas while biking the Arizona canal with my wife. We stopped and had the most amazing lunch (carne asada tacos and camelback chicken bowl) along with wonderful fresh salsas and beer. The open air dining and service were top notch. Making a plan to come back for dinner. High recommend this gem of a place!

Omg talk about a hidden gem ! I had this saved from a post I seen in Instagram. At first I thought ok it looks ok.
But boy we're we blowing away ! The seating is great. We sat outside. But they had heaters to keep you warm. The servers were very attentive. Knew the menu anf knew what to reccomend .
Our food came out fast, hot and flavorful. As a fellow Hispanic, the food deifnetly passes the vibe check.
The pastor was amazing ! Drinks were awesome. Beans were fresh as well. We shared the threesome dips and they did not disappoint! We deinfetly plan on coming back for brunch !
Also pup friendly outside for the guests with dogs. Vibes were immaculate!

I didn’t even think to take a photo of the tacos I ordered because I assumed this would be just another Mexican restaurant. I couldn’t have been more wrong. These were hands down some of the best tacos I’ve had in decades.
I ordered the smoked brisket taco and the rosa chicken taco, and both far exceeded my expectations. Incredible flavor, perfectly prepared, and genuinely memorable. I can confidently say I’ve found a new favorite Mexican restaurant. Highly recommended.

The food was really good, the vibe was fun, and the service was awesome.
The three of us got the Pollo Fundido, Carne Asada Bowl, and the Enchilada Trio, and everything looked great and tasted even better. It’s a cool spot to watch a game or hang out outside with friends. Everyone on the staff was super friendly, and the service was top-notch. Our waiter, Gavin, was fantastic—he gave us solid recommendations, checked in to make sure we had everything, and was very personable.
