We came in a bit before closing and Julio was incredibly kind and patient with us. Really took good service to a different level It was our first time at Gadzooks, and he took the time to explain everything on the menu without rushing us. He made us feel welcome and helped us figure out what to order, and the food was amazing! Big thanks to Julio for making our first visit such a great experience

Gadzooks takes wood-fired fresh Mexican to a whole new level - it blows the doors off what you thought was possible flavor-wise. The Pool Boy taco? A consistent 12/10 masterpiece.
I’ve been coming for years but most recently have visited weekly. They have a great summer deal at the moment where you can get 2 pool boy tacos and a beverage for $4! I’ve been telling everyone I know about this as it’s such a filling lunch for a major deal.
When you’re curating your own meal aside from the lunch special, I’ve been a fan of all meat selections. The flavors are great and the fact that your can curate the flavor profile with your selections of toppings makes it so much better.
The tortillas are so good you may want to order a few extra to eat at home with leftovers. The corn bread is unexpected, yet makes such a difference as an add on within your tacos or enchiladas. Big fan, and even bigger supporter knowing it’s a local business.

I wanted to give a shout out to a great employee at this place. His name is Kai. Such a hard-worker who is kind and attentive. I was very impressed with him. Thank you Kai for serving us today as we visited Arizona!

Sadly disappointing. Walked into the Camelback location a touch over an hour before they closed. Instantly felt the chill with no music playing or greeting from the staff. I never wanna be a pain, but an hour before close and we couldn't get our food in for here-ware or a fried egg. Everything was totally broken down. The soup was warm and never baked as I remember it so it was all bubbly and delicious. Enchiladas were not hot in that box. Sad enchiladas to pair with a sad time. :(

I used to live near the location on Camelback in Phx & ate there regularly. I was in the area recently & stopped by for lunch…excited to have it again
Man Gadzooks you really fell off
The food for the most part tasted good but was literally around half the size of what they used to serve a year ago
Wasn’t just an “off day” the tortillas are much smaller, they only take up around half the length of the to-go tray now, they used to almost fill the length of the to-go tray
Also there was so little filling in them they looked like rolled taquitos. It was surprising how little food there was
C’mon Gadzooks, you can’t reduce the portions by half & think people are still come to the restaurant & pay over $13 for it?
I may try another location because I do like the food, but if it’s the same reduced portion, I’m out for good

It was our first time coming into Gadzook’s today and it was delicious! Joshua was very friendly and walked us through the options. I would highly recommend the enchiladas, everything was very fresh and you can tell the employees care about the customers’ experience. We will definitely be back! :)

Went to the gilbert location and the food was so good! The cook and cashier were so respectful, attentive and personable...awesome customer service skills and they executed the food perfectly! The fried cheese on top was superb and so was everything we ordered....the taste and flavor was on point! We most definitely will be going back! Thank you gilbert location staff!

This is one of my favorite places to eat in Phoenix. I love that there is an Arcadia/Biltmore location. The food is great and the people are even better. Chris helped us out tonight and was fantastic.
My go to order - two enchiladas, red sauce, both cheese, chicken and cornbread 50/50 side of mashed potato’s and to round it off the jalapeno ranch. So good!

Having been loyal customers at Gadzooks' 7th Street location, I decided to try the location closer to my workplace. While the new staff was welcoming, the service was notably slow—it took half an hour to receive our order despite being the only customers present. The food lacked the signature flavors we've come to expect from our usual spot. The team repeatedly mentioned they were all newly hired, which likely explains the delays and quality inconsistencies. With time and experience, we hope they'll match the high standards set by the 7th Street location.

I just ordered soup because I’m very sick and need something spicy to help my throat.. drove 20 minutes to be told my order was refunded. The girl behind the counter laughed when I asked why I wasn’t notified and said that she doesn’t know how the ordering app works. I would strongly advise you to call customers because I just wasted 40 minutes total of my time and energy and am truly irritated with her service.
Decent thing to do would be to give me a call. U expect better.
Everything was good! Vickie is absolutely amazing and such a pleasure to see her when I come into Gadzooks. Such a professional, fresh and kind spirit!
