I have been sleeping on Gadzooks for a few years now. I thought... "soup & enchiladas, I don't get it".... until I was injured and could only eat liquids. First order was delivery through their website by way of Yelp. I ordered the tortilla and the corn chowder.... added deluciousness to the tortilla and left the chowder as was with the lava sauce on the side. They're not joking about lava on the salsa. I added a bit too much to a plain chowder and it was far too spicy for me...Next time, I ordered the potato enchiladas and chicken tacos, again through the app. They were out of potato, I learned when the dasher deluvered the order with a missing item and I called the restaurant. I don't typically eat meat and the tacos weren't for me. I was bummed the restaurant employee was unaware of how I placed the order, considering I did it direct on their site. So, the communication was not relayed until I called. I am not dropping points because it was so good, a bit salty for me but not overly so. As I said, the guy over the phone was pleasant and answered the question quickly about why I was missing an item and had already refunded the amount. I will order again, or go in.

My experience at this restaurant is a one! I thought the food was disgusting greasy and the spices were not correct. I ordered two tacos, two enchiladas and they put each one in a separate aluminum baking dish with the tacos Pita bread folded with the meat juices, covered with cheese, then put it in a pizza oven to bake covered with cheeses and sauces. It was impossible to take out of the baking dish to eat. It all fell apart. The Crema and the guacamole was extremely spicy. this place is extremely expensive with absolutely no atmosphere. I am a major foodie and like off-the-wall cuisines, I think you get more money for your buck if you go to Taco Bell’s or Del taco, the money you’ll save take your partner to the movies! I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone!

Brian is a rockstar. Visited this location at typical busy dinner time on a Saturday expecting a wait and saw the staffing sign, it appears as only Brian was there. They may have had some boh staff but.... Brian was efficient, kind, patient and an absolute rockstar. Food was great as always, but major shout out to this guy because he made the wait worth it by giving 5 star service (with little or no support) and and not having any qualms, stress or bad attitude about getting it done (very possibly alone)

Food was tasty but I was a first time customer and had to ask for help in ordering. Maybe a beginner's menu would help with first time orders. Atmosphere is very casual and appreciated the volume of take out orders. Might try that next time. Could be a little noisy with dishes pick up and large pizza trays. The food is worth a try--younger vib.

Fast and casual and served in clay crockery, they also serve soups beer wine and margaritas as well as a lunchtime combo with a drink entree and side for $15. There is also a Groupon and Local Flavor coupon to save 50% .

Oh, and no silverware! I am literally typing this while trying to scrape the burnt sections off the bottom of the tray so I can feel like I [actually] got something! What a complete and utter waste of my money. "Redefining the Enchilada" you say? Well let's see, put a fancy name up, make it super expensive, ah, it MUST be good......no, it's NOT! Way overpriced for nothing special.Reheated the second enchilada, and half way through there was no meat, just cheese......unbelievable
