Garcia's Mexican Restaurant

This is the Garcia's on Peoria Ave, I love this particular Garcia's, they have been here for so many years. I went with a friend for lunch. The food was amazing, staff was friendly and professional. Staff wore masks and was mindful of seating and I am thankful to you for that!! Thank you for a great experience!!

Food and atmosphere are where this place has hung its success. Service is normal. The chips they bring to the table are top notch though. Really a good option for a sit-down family meal.

Garcia's was great. I was a little nervous by the fact that none of the staff wore face mask due to Covid. But...Food was hot n alcoholic drinks were awesome

Placed an order for curbside pick up. When I arrived, I parked in the curbside parking area and called inside I was told that I needed to come in and ask for my order as they were "really backed up with togo orders." What is the point in offering curbside if it will not be honored? Fortunately I had my handicap placard available, so I didn't have as far to walk. I did have to stand inside for about 10 minutes waiting for the food.

GREAT SERVICE by MICAELA at 35th Ave & Peoria Ave. We had a large group, about 30 people, and Micaela was VERY attentive, fast and friendly with everyone! Everyone at my table commented that she was an excellent server, friendly, helpful with the menu, fast, works great with her co-workers and interacted with everyone at all tables (we occupied several). We will be back at Garcia's and hope to see Micaela again. Also, the food was really good.

Lunch with Hubby was delicious. A little pricey for the lunch menu. But we enjoyed our meal. ☺️

We love this place. Have not been here in awhile as it's quite a drive but happened to be near today and stopped in. This is the best of the Garcia's restaurants. I love the decore and the Bodega type feel of the restaurant. The service is very pleasant, quick, and will take care of you. The food has always been good here and tonight was the same. I wish they would open a location out near Buckeye so we could eat this food more often.

Garcia's Mexican restaurant has been in the valley for years as long as I can remember it is above average Mexican food that you cannot go wrong with several valley locations choose one go there whatever you choose on the menu is going to be delicious

We have been a loyal customer for over 20 some years and have never had a bad take out meal. I drive over 30 miles to pick up my orders. Unfortunately the last two times the quality of the take out food has been below their normal standards, the last order was so bad wife and I can not eat it. Hope you correct what ever the problem is, cause I would like to continue being a loyal customer.

Just okay. Nothing stood out to me. Basic as basic gets. The server forgot about us so we went to the front to ask for a way to pay.. They acted like we were trying to sine and dash.. We literally had our cards in hand. Anyways, there is better Mexican Food in the area if you are inclined to look.

Excellent food!!! Love everything here. Never been disappointed. Hadn't been in a while, so glad we went back. Bean dip with chips and salsa is a must! So delicious!!! Good prices.Happy hour is awesome!! Great deals....Good food and drinks!...you have to sit in the bar.

My company catered lunch for us and i have to say Steven the manager at this location was excellent. The food was great and he gave us excellent customer service.Lindy James w/ u.s. collections west, inc.

Stopped by here for dinner on 9/23/21 around 730pm ish and we'll I'm just going to lay it all out as I seen it.Parking lot is very dark, found a spot right out front near entrance,it wasn't to busy about 15 cars parked in the front.Upon walking in it had an awful odor sorta like bad body odor, urine and a mildew,moldy musty smell going on.Stood in the area that says wait to be seated for about 2 minutes before being greeted and sat at a table, the bar area sounded pretty lively with loud talking and chatter.Our table was sticky across the entire surface the menus literally stuck to it, the strange stale musty/mildew odor was still present.Wife and I looked at the menu for about 10 minutes and waited about 5 or ten more minutes before getting up and leaving.The eating area was not that busy but after about 20 mins sitting there and no waitress, no drinks, no nothing we decided to just leave and go somewhere else as it was pretty clear how our service was going to be during our dinner.I can't comment on the food because we never got to that point.Overall it was a dissatisfaction filled experience with poor service, poor cleaning and the odor of a homeless encampment.It was more than likely a blessing in disguise I could only imagine how nasty and dirty the kitchen must be if the eating area and our table was layered in sticky nasty filth.Based on this experience I would not recommend this place to anyone, there are way way cleaner places with outstanding service.I would not return ever to garcias.

Happy hour margs were delicious and $4,Chili Verde was very good, chicken quesadilla is enough for two people and tasty. Good prices at happy hour. 5 or 6 tvs in bar area.
