This place ain't what it used to be! Just like the young family members who inherited Macayo's and Manuel's and ran them in the ground it is happening here too! They seem to quickly forget what's in a name with what it took to build the restaurants local reputation with blood, sweat and tears that the grandparents & parents poured into it over the decades just to have a kid or grandkid wash it ALL down the drain in just a few short years. Tonight's dinner involved a young waiter who thought that he was above writing our order down and then having the kitchen help mop up his mess at our expense. Then at the end of the meal we spoke with the grandson from the kitchen about the stinky mildew smelling synthetic fast food tortillas that he is now serving. The taco shells even appeared to be made of some sort of deep fried rice paste that was all blistered up and flaky? These kids are literally blind as to what got the restaurant off the ground in the first place. The sad part is that even if the order was written down in the first place it wouldn't of even have mattered anyway because nothing tasty was coming out of the kitchen anyway.
Here's some useful information and only because I'm in my 60's, a native and have been eating your food since I was 10 yrs of age.
Call Mama Lola's or La Canasta and get a real hand stretched flour tortilla with no preservatives along with a real stone ground white corn tortilla for your taco's, tostada's & chips. Get your name/reputation back and let the public now know that your values have changed and are now more consistent with what your family started decades ago with a sincere apology to your customer base for sliding backwards when you were running ignorant & blind for doing so.
When all of that is sorted out then please reach out to me so that we can start making some good memories again and start adding you back to the list of places to dine!
They have a sign in the take out lobby floor stating menudo red or white quart size 11.25
But charging 14.95 for the quart.
I told the lady at the register about it.
She informed the cooks and she came back
told me their prices went up. I told her they need to change price on the sign.... No offer to refund the difference at least this once.
NOT EVEN AN APOLOGY.
Only have a good one ...

Food was amazing! I had always heard of this restaurant but never got a chance to try until recently, and it was worth the wait!
Plates have large portions and great flavor. My personal favorite was the Pollo fundido. I highly recommend!

I was in town for the day and was craving fajitas. Searched for fajitas on google maps and this place came up; What a great choice!
The restaurant was pretty empty on the day/time of my visit so I was greeted then seated at a table as soon as I walked in.
The food was delicious and fresh. The restaurant is very spacious and clean. The staff were friendly. Although i went looking for fajitas, the massive menu had me second guessing myself.
I will be back to try out other items from the menu!

We had a party of 6, we were seated in an area that was so loud we couldn't really talk to each other, we had a server change mid service and the new server charged us for sodas we did not order and up charges for things we didn't ask for or receive. For all of the people who have said this place is great, for a first visit I was very disappointed.

We got put on a corner table and I felt claustrophobic. Service was amazing. Very attentive and was checking on us and our toddler frequently.

We love the original Garcias for Sunday supper! I love extra lemons with my lemonade (Minute Maid style) and they brought me a plate full of large lemon wedges. Service from the entrance is always fast and friendly.
Pollo Crema is a classic favorite. My brother likes to order a special deep fried burrito with cheese on top, no sauce. My cheese enchilada was delicious, but the corn tortillas weren't very tender. The Mexican Pizza we shared was two layers of goodness topped with love. The meat topping was ok, and wasn't very hot. The ambience has remained elevated and fun. Sound measure at a quiet Sunday night 60 dB.

Very slow service. Ordered the steak picado and there wasn't very much steak. We also got spinach enchilada with chicken they were ok but the rice was overcooked and flavorless
