If the shepherd pie and beers were OK, two hours before getting our meal is unacceptable! Ordered at 06:30 & got it at 8:30… 1/2 of our party already left.. never again.

Food was great. Service was a tad slow and it wasn't busy. Had to ask for the check twice.

Visiting from Chicago, we wanted to find a pub to watch football. it was a nice surprise to find a British Pub. We tried the chicken wings, chicken curry and the fish and chips. The food was all great pub fare! The owner stopped by our table to share great stories. The ladies serving us were very friendly. We will be back!

I usually go to Cornish Pasty Co, well that has ended. I am only going to Geroge & Dragon. They have proper pasties that have the perfect laminiated flaky crust. The Shepards Pie is the simple and comfort style of shepards pie. Just the way I like it, sans lamb meat. And when I asked for brown sauce, they knew what I was talking about. The ONLY complaint I have is the bathrooms are gross. I know it's a pub, but the bathrooms need daily attention.

You can't go to an English pub and not try the "bangers and mash." Good comfort food.

43 minutes and still no food.

Visited on a weekend afternoon. We were told "there will be a little wait." After 20 minutes of looking at the menu online as none was provided in that time, we checked in with staff to see how much longer the wait would be. We were then told "Just because there is seating doesn't mean there is availability." Left the restaurant at that point.

Unfortunate experience - walked in and had to go to the bar to ask about seating. We sat ourselves, we were told they would be with us on a bit. After 10 minutes I walked back up to the bar to get menus for ourselves. Still no greeting, no water. 25 minutes later I went up to ask about service and was told just because we have seating doesn't mean we have availability. We walked out,NO thank you. Hopefully management can help this place.

I've been coming here occasionally for a few years, specifically for the meatloaf! It is truly THE BEST! Unfortunately their cocktails arnt that great, so unless you like beer you're gonna be thirsty. BUT THE FOOD IS AMAZING.

Awesome pub. Two pool tables are 8 footers but with decent rails. Two dart boards, they get plenty of action. Awesome patio right on central, feels like a real city out there! Prime location right next to Indian school Steele park. Solid food and good beers.

I am English and this is hands down the best British food I've had in America.

Hip, socially active mixed crowd, ol' English atmosphere. 2 quarter tables. Darts etc. Pool tables could use some new felt. Darts need replacing. But good enough. Excellent bartenders and staff. Food is excellent. Although you may hear snobbish UK ex patriots complain it is not authentic... I would tell them to "Piss off!" The food is great. It's dark inside, real dark. Except for the large dining room.

Good bar, good food and great bartenders and drinks.

Good times to be had hear.

Instant mash potatoes? Really?
Shepards pie was on point. Avoid the mash potatoes.

Hubby and I returned to the place we went on our first date. What a disappointment! The Cornish pastie was hearty with a flaky crust and still good, but the fish and chips were truly awful! Fish was texture of leather with skin attached. Chips were undercooked and unsalted. Service was terrible. We were ignored, had to wait several minutes to get our silverware while our food got cold. The place was filthy and is basically nothing but a third-rate sports bar, completely devoid of the English pub charm it had decades ago. So sorry to see this happen to a favorite pub.
