We love this place !fresh food ,reasonable price ,great service.best sushi in ahwatukee ! My favorite roll is Phoenix roll is yummy . I can eat here twice a week . Their house special yakisoba noodle is my favorite too ! Sometimes I try something different and it always surprises me .one time my child spilled his drink and dropped food on the floor .I felt really bad ,but the waiter was very patient and caring ,not upset at all ! He even helped me soothe my child and gave he a small gift . I was really touched. You know how hard it is for a mother to take care of her children! Thank you Ginban sushi for marking it pleasure to eat here every time !

The tuna and yellow tail was old, and taste terrible. The prices are crazy. The quality is low I will not be back. Somehow their soy sauce tasted sweet or something they did to the rice which was gross. this place looks nice, and the service was good. But the food needs some serious help in the quality department. I have dined at a lot of sushi places and this meal for 100+ dollars with tip was absurd for 8 nigiri pieces and 4 rolls so value of the food is terrible. I would rather go to any other sushi place such as Junn, or Shimigamo. Even RA sushi is much better tasting.

Very nice people that work there for a great casual neighborhood spot. Really good sushi and even though they get busy, they’re always helpful and they can entertain the kids while we wait. This place used to be my go to spot like a year or two ago. It hasn't felt the same ever since the boys who ran it in the front left. Used to be able to drop in and shoot the breeze and have some guy talk. I think their names were Han and Dion. I went recently and it's just not the same anymore. Not sure if management changed but the bento box teriyaki was dry probably cooked for too long and the appetizers tasted frozen in the middle. I keep giving it another chance hoping it's just a bad day for them but I hate to say the place has been going downhill. I don't usually leave reviews but after getting sick from the questionable fish, I had to.

I truly am not sure HOW ON EARTH a place like this, is still in business!!! But, in my honest opinion it needs shutdown. Service, was horrible, which I can’t wrap my head around to how? When we were the ONLY ones there! We sat at the bar, with the sushi chef in front of us. And it took 50 minutes to get our sushi! We almost walked out and I wish that we did. Because not only did our waiter do a horrible job, the sushi chef took far too long to prepare 5 rolls, we ordered. He didn’t give us each one as he prepared them. He let them sitting and gave us them all at once. One roll my fiance ordered which should be hot, was cold. And the sushi chef, wasn’t welcoming at all. He never spoke once to us… It just felt uncomfortable and awkward the whole time.
And to go orders, grossed us out. As we witnessed our server grabbing the orders with no gloves on, and his fingers were touching the food! He was grabbing them, to where his bare fingers, went into the containers, as he was putting lids on. (GROSS) We were eating the sushi then decided enough was enough, it tasted old and it was just by far the worst sushi my fiance and I have ever had! And we eat sushi quite a bit! They asked if we wanted to go boxes, as we had so much left over, we were like absolutely not! Well, about 30 minutes later or so, I got a headache, upset stomach and became incredibly dizzy. I then started having to run to the bathroom going out the bottom, and puking SO much! I’m now onto the next day of food poisoning symptoms. And the only thing, I can think of was eating the sushi. My gut was to walk out of the restaurant and WISH on everything that we did! Because this ruined my fiancés birthday weekend. And I’m now sick with food poisoning. Please don’t eat here! This place needs some serious REVIEW to be done. And I’m sure shutdown. There’s such a huge reason, we were the only ones, in that restaurant. DISGUSTING!
