Great locally owned mom and pop place. They take pride and care in their pies and ensure a great experience! They had a new guy making an extra large pie for us that accidentally got the pie to stick and tore a small hole when taking it out of the oven. Not only did they refund us, they remade the order to perfection. Great service and a great crew, this is our new go to.

Have to say i went here with average hopes and was greatly disappointed. The kitchen and management staff forgot about us. The pizza was at least cook though so they got that going on. Was told a 30 minute wait and had to wait for 1.5 hours. Not worth the money nor the wait. Avoid at all cost.Dietary restrictions: Does gfParking: Limited, very limited.Kid-friendliness: Not kid friendly nor family friendly

This is not going to be a pretty review. It is a whole lot more fun to write glowing tales of great experiences, but I am sadly disappointed by Gio's Pizza. One 12" Supreme ordered on-site to go.I ordered and took a seat along the wall to wait and immediately noticed the place was filthy. The corridor to the back door looked like a badly run day care. Half eaten plates of cold food and McDonald's bags were everywhere. Children were playing in a tray of pizza dough like it was modeling clay. Disgusting, but okay, let that one go.Pizza came and I hit the road home. Opening the box, the first thing I noticed were the large par-cooked wedges of colored peppers on top of the pie. Large wedges are great in antipasto, but not so great on my pie. I love green peppers in a supreme pizza, but properly portioned and fully cooked. Hmmm? Interesting, I thought. Open my mind and give it a try.The next thing I noticed was that Gio's had failed to cut the pie. Hmmm, again. Never seen that before in a take-out pizza. Maybe that's just how they do it. I did not ask for it to be cut.Lift the pie out of the box onto my cutting board. The bottom of the box was soaking wet. Not greasy wet, water wet. Can't explain the physics of this one, but my disappointment was mounting and the product becoming increasingly suspect. These folks advertise "New York style crispy thin crust". Definitely not. Good crust, but nowhere near thin and crispy.Gotta give Gio's five stars on their pizza sauce. As good as it gets. Tossing the par cooked peppers, the pie was excellent for what it was with one picky exception. Their ham is portioned into small cubes, rather than a traditional thin slice. Looked like something from a Spam ad on TV. Well hey, I love Spam and am probably being too picky.Gio's? Not now, not again, not for me.

Have given it a couple tries since be owner. First time it was not edible... complained. Promised refund twice that never happened... tried again tonight. Had to finish cooking it again... what the heck!!

I will be back everytime I am in or around anthem. The pizza was amazing and just what I wanted. The staff was friendly and great to work with. Loved it. Dining area is small but that wasn't a problem for me.

This pizza sucks lol. Tried gios for the first time and won't be ordering from them again. I don't know how they managed it but the top was dry and bland (no sauce) and the bottom was doughy and seemingly not cooked to completion. Order was delayed due to them not having the ingredients made. My best guess is the pizza was rushed and shortcuts were made. Stick to Ray's or Barros if you want decent pizza in anthem. I was shocked a place that charges this much puts out such a poor product.

What happened? This used to be great, now it's not. New owners need to ask the previous owners to help out. This was go-to pizza, now it's avoid completely.

Ordered the caprese pizza because I’m a basil lover, yet it delivered with zero basil - fresh or otherwise. We ate it but it was only 2 stars. Pretty basic.

I was here many years ago. The quality and the selection are nothing like I recall. Wondering uf new ownership or new management.

Had the blanca/white pizza. It was great. All the pizzas I have had here are very good to great. Service is top notch. Not much seating is the only issue.

Déçue, j'ai pris une salade césar, j'ai eu une salade avec du parmesan et c'est tout ! Même avec la sauce ça manque d'ingrédients..,.

Wanted to cancel my order and was told the staff didn't know how to. Pizza wasn't even made yet when arriving for pickup when they suggested. Asked me to come back later to pick up since they can't deliver or cancel. No reachable management. Out almost $100 bucks and no food. I guess I'll follow up for a refund when it's convenient. Thanks for making my kids and guests wait to eat... won't be back!
