Picked this place based on the show Diners, Driven and Dives and it didn't disappoint. Enjoyed the family atmosphere and the food was very good! Will definitely come back next time I'm in Arizona. Love how the staff were very accommodating.

great little neighborhood Italian place. service was wonderful in a cozy, very comfortable space.

I was really looking forward to enjoying this place--but was underwhelmed. Service was inexplicably bad since there were three servers for about 8 tables. My server was more interested in flirting with the cook than serving me. As a result, her back was turned to the room much of the time and she did not see my gesturing for service. I ordered their classic bolangnese. Noodles were over cooked. Sauce was fine but far from exceptional. The bread served was pedestrian and more like white bread than a crusty Italian loaf. Looked like they had bought it at Safeway. I asked for a WIFI code and was given a non-working code which server shrugged off and did not remedy. The idea of this place exceeds the reality. At $50 for a single dinner of pasta with a glass of house wine, there are better choices in Phoenix.

We ordered the specials: squid ink pasta with clams and the slow-cooked pork ribs and cavatelli. We also ordered the eggplant appetizer and garlic bread. All very delicious and perfectly prepared. No frills, but excellent dinner in a setting where we could hear each other talk. Friendly, laid-back wait staff. Very enjoyable. Highly recommend.

As I posted on YELP.. As a Foodie, I can honestly say I had one of the best meals in years at Giuseppe's on 28th. The clams and black fettuccini was outstanding. Chef Richard came over to our table and chatted with us for a moment. He explained that all is made in-house, including the pasta. We will return often. Thanks for the chance to experience one of the better meals in town.

We had an amazing experience, and our food was delicious. This is my third time visiting this restaurant, and it was another wonderful experience. My brought my friend with me here, and they enjoyed it as well.

I had the pasta Bolognese with a lot of different meats. The noodles were too fat and I would of liked more saucy sauce. The place was tiny, tiny.

I expected this to be really good since it was on tv. But it was pretty gross all the pasta was wayyy to salty we were literally biting down on chunks of salt in our pasta. And all the pasta was soggy overcooked. Tiramisu was decent I guess

Not the most exciting place for Italian food, but decent. Very tiny and crowded, uncomfortable seating. Food was OK, nothing to write home about, but tasty enough. Will I put it on my dinner spot rotation? Nah. Too many other places with better everything.

We visit Giuseppe's every time we visit the area. The owner & chef is a great guy. I always enjoy our conversations. The food is delicious, fresh, and always good. It's a small place, but very inviting. I suggest you try it!

Every time I come to Scottsdale, I go to Giuseppe's. I always have the bolognese. My son had the Italian Mac and Cheese and my wife had a pasta with an unpronounceable name but it had beets and sausage and Gorgonzola. Sounds weird but was superb. Honestly, I've tried a bunch of restaurants that have been on Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives and most have been pedestrian at best. This place is always great!

This was our first visit. We chose two entrees from the main menu and a side of garlic bread. The limonata pasta and pasta with Gorgonzola cream, sausage and beets were very good. Garlic bread is supreme!

First time at Giuseppe's and it was very enjoyable. The service was very good, as was the food. The owner came by our table several times, made certain we were happy with the experience, and offered stories, advice on Italian food, etc. We enjoyed the Italian Mac and Cheese, and the Spaghetti Neri. While good I'd suggest one of the other specialities over the Mac and Cheese. The Spaghetti Neri was loaded with seafood. Well worth the price. The wine list isn't very lengthy but we enjoyed a Super Tuscan and it was very good. The wine prices are very good as well. It's a very small facility so I'd highly recommend a reservation.
