Okay I came here for lunch and ended up getting the Khao soi. I saw a review that said it wasn’t as great as chiang mai, but having gone to chiang mai in October and falling in love with this damn dish, I was longing to have some, even if it was sub par.

Let me tell you - definitely not sub par. Literally think I fell in love all over again with Khao soi.

It’s amazing - get it. The medium spice level was perfect for me, no sweating involved

Visited Glai Baan while in Phoenix. The atmosphere was cozy and intimate, and the service was warm and genuinely welcoming from the moment we walked in. Dan, the owner, greeted and seated us himself, setting the tone with heartfelt hospitality. It’s hard to believe this charming space was once a 1954-era Dairy Queen — the transformation is impressive and full of character. Incredible! Everything was delicious, from the cocktails to the mains. Loved the skewers the most, and every dish was well-balanced and perfectly seasoned. Friendly service, expect a bit of a wait for a table.
