Still just as good as the first time — I’ve been back many times and absolutely love the flavors here. The food is cooked by a Korean family, so it’s as authentic as it gets. You should definitely order this combo when you visit; one portion is very generous. They earn a full 5 stars from me for so many great reasons. One more tip: the food tastes best when you enjoy it hot and crispy right at the restaurant.

My bulgogi bento box (to go) was delicious and filling and just what I needed after a full day of driving and hiking! Even though I came in 30 min before closing, the server/cashier was very friendly and helpful, and my food came quickly. Thank you!

Tldr: great Korean food, friendly service with clean and spacious dining area.
Details:
Ordered kimchi tofu stew, hot stone bibimbap, Jjamppong, Korean fried chicken (classic and sweet & spicy).
Kimchi tofu stew was flavorful and pretty spicy (8/10 level), comparable to tofu house chain versions although skipped traditional raw egg.
Hot stone bibimbap (it's 2+ folx portion) was tasty. Got it with spicy pork bulgogi which was marinated and cooked perfectly (spicy but not overwhelming, fully cooked, not overcooked with the perfect mouth feel texture.
Jjamppong was huge portioned with deeply flavored broth, perfectly spiced with plenty of tasty seafood, veggies and noodles.
Korean fried chicken was very very well done and honestly probably one of the best versions I've eaten. Crispy and not oily (likely double fried), moist and flavorful meat (likely brined). I usually prefer classic without any sauce and their version was great!
Their sweet and spicy versions were well balanced.
The owner was behind the counter taking order and he & I spoke a bit in Korean. Honestly I wasn't expecting a decent Korean restaurant in Phoenix area so this was a great find and we'll be going back to try some other dishes!!

This is a true gem of a place for authentic, delicious Korean food which won’t break the bank. The hot stone bibimbap is incredible and their grilled pork belly is outstanding. The staff are very friendly and polite as well. So glad I gave this place a try, and will be back soon!

I'm a huge dolsot fan. This was great, especially for a casual place. Look at that wide bowl and tasty ingredients. Minus one star because no nurungji at the bottom. Nurungji is the only way to end dolsot!

Amazing hot stone bibimbap! Love it!
I love Gogi, me and my wife drive up from Tucson just to eat here often. We get the bento boxes, the sweet and spicy wings and their extra spicy Korean wings every time! They are hooot but soo tasty , they are worth the sweat. The owner and his staff are always so polite with smiles. Recommend 10/10 for locals and visitors.
