The food at Gojo Ethiopian was very good – we tried the Gojo Combo, Meat Combo, Meat & Veggie Combo, and also ordered Doro Wot. Everything tasted authentic and flavorful.
However, the service needs improvement. There was only one server for the whole restaurant, and we had to ask for basic things like water glasses. The portion sizes also felt too small for the price. For example, the Doro Wot was $14 but came with only one piece of chicken and one egg, which didn’t feel worth it.
Overall, delicious food but service and portion sizes could be much better.

This is a hole in the wall with the best Ethiopian food in Arizona. We eat Ethiopian everywhere that we travel, so we are experienced Ethiopian food eaters. Service is leisurely. Get the sambussas and the salad.

I was starving and craving Ethiopian food, and I’m so glad I found GOJO! I ordered the veggie combo, and it was absolutely amazing fresh, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. Every bite tasted authentic and full of rich spices, just like home. The injera was soft and delicious, and the portions were generous
Authentic Ethiopian Food. I grew up on great Ethiopian cooking. And I can say, this is where my family will stop for a meal everytime. The food at Gojo is excellent!

A restaurant with a truly interesting atmosphere, uniquely designed to offer an authentic Ethiopian experience. The food, prepared by an Ethiopian lady chef, had a genuine homemade taste rich in tradition and flavor. A wonderful place to visit and enjoy a memorable meal.
Really? Is this a joke or something? I just left from this place with a great disappointment. When I walked into the restaurant a guy with a regular dressing stayed farther from me asked, can I help you?, I said, yes of course. I asked are you guys open, even though there were three people sat on a table with some drinks. He respond, yes we are open take a seat. The restaurant is well decorated with Ethiopian cultural relics. However, after I ordered my food, without being asked to order any drink, I waited about 20 minutes and gave up and left.
