Gordos Tacos - Awhatukee

They had a shin saying they were closed due to the kitchen and they would be open “tomorrow “ on Friday. Saturday the exact same sign. I’m not sure this location is open anymore?

Amazing. This is by far the best Taco joint in Ahwatukee. We got 5 different tacos, I don't even know which ones, 1950 Crispy Gringo, Crispy Shrimp Avocado Taco, Phoenix Cooks Taco, Al Pastor - Damn..... I haven't had tacos that good in, like ever ever.... and they even have mini Uno on each table so we played while waiting for our tacos. Love it here, will definitely be back!

If I could give negative stats I would! Food is trash! Service was worse! First time ordering food and had it delivered! Food arrived cold and soggy! In addition half my order was missing! When I called the restaurant the young very rude and unprofessional woman answered the phone and then advised me that they were out of the food I ordered with no outreach! In addition they were unwilling to refund my money or assist with any help! I highly recommend you stay far away from this places as there are way better options in the area where the service and food is exceptionally better!

Finally made it over to Gordos Tacos in Ahwatukee! 🌮 I tried the queso birria and my mom went with a fresh fish taco. We kicked things off with their homemade guacamole and chips—everything came out hot, fresh, and full of flavor. Definitely a spot we’ll be coming back to!

I’m not usually One who goes for these sort of taco Things. I usually can gobble up with taco after it makes a mess all over my plate and I don’t feel like there’s a stark difference between them and any other Mexican food place.
I happen to be outside walking around in this little shopping center tonight And I realized I was starving. There was an Asian food place as well as this place. So I asked my beautiful Colombian friend, Valentina, whether I should have Mexican or Chinese food tonight.
Luckily, she responded with Little doubt , And Me, Mexican food, it was! I’m not going to lie, though, I was a little disappointed, because I wanted to try the Asian food!
But I am so, so glad that I did. I ordered a variety of tacos, and they were all on sale! I didn’t even think about it, but today is Tuesday; hence, taco Tuesday.
The inside also has a little bar. Aria and the vibe is super chill, and we find. They are playing modern, cool Latin music, instead of stereotypical. The atmosphere is a Mexican restaurant, but for the first time I can remember, a modern, chic one!

As you can, see, they had a deck of Uno cards. Now, I am planning to have video calls, and play with my friends from afar..

I will most definitely be going back and forcing others to try it. I hope this place stays there for a long time, because it is the one, and only taco place that I like!!

I loved the different tacos they have! We enjoyed the freshly made chips and salsa and guacamole. They have a dj every Thursdays and Fridays which is great! 😊 the music was good! very nice staff! Amazing food 🌮

Another serendipitous find for us, heartbroken that our favorite taco place closed, disappointed with another taco place nearby, and we came to this place. It’s our current favorite place for tacos and quesadillas.

I had the tequila lime shrimp tacos and they were so yummy! This is a hidden gem in Ahwatukee! There is a small bar, and 9 smaller tables. The restaurant is colorfully decorated and very clean! The staff is friendly and greeted me cheerfully when I came in. I look forward to coming back for more!
