DJ Thursday night played The Specials to Fleetwood Mac. Big patio in the back with lots of seating. Bar has seating too. They have food as well. A dive bar with punk flair. Their parking lot is South of Gracie's, only 10 spots or so, best bet is to come early to snag a spot (like I did) or park in the neighborhood around it using the street parking available. "Chopped Cheese" for $9 was good. Imagine a diced hamburger.

Great vibes, good prices for both food and drink, music acts quite frequently in the back area. Always a solid place to start or end a night.

The food and service was spot on! Those pickle fries are one of the best bar snacks I’ve ever had. If you plan to sit on the patio, it’s worth the wait until the sun goes down as it transforms into something completely different than the daytime.

Bouncers here are extremely rude and I’ve had multiple bad experiences here. Will not be coming back.

New Wave night is awesome. Caters to a youngish crowd but if you're dancing all night, you won't notice. The decor is strangely delightful. Peep the Exorcist-like baby on the corner of the ceiling too!

I've been going to Gracie's for a long time now and usually have really good experiences with the staff. Last night however was different. Let me preface this by saying I understand a bar needs to make sure no one is overly drunk and causing issues. I have no problem with people doing their job. I came in from walking my boyfriend to his car and a male bouncer had mentioned someone saw me stumbling on the patio and that I should drink some water. Why didn’t that person just talk to me? We were there four hours and I had 3 drinks. This bothers me because I was helping myself to the self-serve water all night and my male friends drank way more than me and were stumbling they said nothing to. Not to mention I was also wearing 5-inch platforms like bro sorry I'm clumsy. I am a firm believer in being polite and thankful to all staff and never causing issues. It's just frustrating being treated like a child when I go out but then they never say anything to my guy friends who were ordering multiple pitchers and I only had three drinks. Felt like the bouncer had an ego and needed to tell someone what to do on a slow night.Edit: recognizing and discussing intoxication with patrons should not be a “nuanced” part of your business. If anything it should be one of the MAIN focuses. Do better, especially if you say you care about keeping those safe and happy.

Welcoming happy hour! Our server at the bar was the best server I've ever had in Phoenix. My friend and I stopped by right when they opened and service was spot-on. There were already people in the building and the server was ready to serve food and drinks right off the bat. FYI the fried pickles were the best we ever had. They were slightly spicy and perfectly crisp. Usually fried pickles are soggy, but these were perfect! We were never left wondering where our bartender was, and he was attentive and ready to keep up with everyone's needs. I wish I got his name but this was Saturday at 4 pm and he was getting warmed up: If you're ever in Phoenix and looking for a dive bar with great dive bar ambience, Gracie's is the place!

This place is quickly turning into my new favorite haunt! First time I went was a great live comedy show. This time it was a live DJ, playing some awesome throwbacks! Love the atmosphere, love the crowd, love the staff, and you must try their food. It's amazing!
