Carry out only now due to COVID shutdown previously, but the food and service to the consuming customer is fabulous: freshest Greek salads, authentic flavorful Greek dishes for lunch or dinner, and friendly warm conversation with owners and chef Tony and Sue, you can’t go wrong.Parking: Easy access location Biltmore/Camelback area of Phoenix

This is a ‘Take Out’ only restaurant. They’ve not recovered since Covid. And this in a way detracts from dining here more as it’s a good drive from where I live. I ordered the Ovgolemono soup, and Gyros sandwich. The soup was good: the right amount of broth, rice, and chicken. Only negatives were few: a bit lemony, having a seed in the soup, and a small bone. The Gyros was good. Unique in having feta cheese with thin slices of onion; slices of tomatoes, and tzatziki sauce on a pita. The meat was a bit strange as I felt it was pre-sliced, and not sliced off a spit. No lettuce was requested as I find that an unwanted ingredient. I like a Gyros simple: meat, thin slices of white or sweet onions, slices of tomato, and tzatziki sauce. It would be nicer to have a sit down meal. And view a full service menu. Possibly try some of the desserts as I recall many a Greek pastry or cookie which my mom had made. I hope they turn things around; hire a staff; and hold regular hours.

Recommended dishes: Chicken Avgolemono

Very inauthentic food. There wasn’t anything wrong with it and it was fresh and tasty but definitely not what one expects from a Greek restaurant. The Horiatiki salad was loaded with basil (?) and the octopus was drenched in gravy (??). The grape leaves definitely looked like they came out of a can. Otherwise the restaurant is very cute, though they only do takeout al lunch time.

Nice owners sadly bad food. They only have take-out option, we ended up tossing $90.00 of food. Our family is Greek have never had Greek food the way they make it. They need new blood in their kitchen.

This place is extremely hot and the staff is completely rude I was picking up a order the older woman kept telling me 5 minutes then after 15 min I advise her I was going to cancel the order she proceeded to tell me that I'm not gonna cancel it and that this isn't a fast food restaurant. Then her and her cook proceeded to talk about me while I was right there he even offered to "say something to me" . at that point I cancel the order and left.

Ive not ordered from Greekfest before but like supporting local restaurants and was craving Greek food. I ordered the Kalamata olives, Hummus, Gyro Taverna, Tyropites and Baklava. The portions were generous but nearly the entire order had an off, sour taste. The Kalamata olives were mostly crushed, nearly pureed olives and tasted odd to me. I assumed it was some unusual brine. I moved on to the Tyropites. 4 crispy pieces, still hot but sour and, in my mind in edible. Even the cheese loving dog turned his nose up at it. I took 2 bites and tossed it. The Gyro Taverna was a generous portion but not as advertised. No cucumbers, tomatoes or red onions. It was drowned in Tsatziki sauce. This was edible, once I scrapped off the majority of sauce but certainly not worth the nearly $60 I paid for the entire order. Hummus - again odd sour taste. At this point, I am not sure I am not eating spoiled food or a chemical cleanser. All of these items had the same weird taste despite different ingredients, which makes me suspect contamination. The Baklava was good. Not great but syrupy and crispy at the same time. It was however overpriced for the small, two bite, piece. I will praise the pita. Warm, and soft. I would recommend not cutting it into pieces as they present it, because it would have been nice to roll the gyro meat into it, Seeing others recently have made similar comments I suspect something is wrong. These are tough times and I admire local businesses toughing it out, so understand smaller portions, higher prices but something is seriously wrong with the flavors,

Food was amazing! Wonderful service, and beautiful restaurant. Greekfest is easily the best Greek Restaurant in Phoenix. It is a million times better than that roach-infested dump Greektown in Phoenix.

THE WORST FOOD I HAVE EVER HAD. NOT TO MENTION THEY THEY SHAMED GREEK FOOD. I very rarely give twist bad of a review. The few that gave good reviews sorry they can eat out of a garbage. A single piece of musaka look at pick 18 dollars no salad rice soup it was burnt, over cooked with bread crumbs. Musaka does not have bread crumbs. Much less burnt ones. The hummus un edible its course stiff no flavor its the ball you see in the box when have you ever seen brown hummas griny taste like raw falafell. They missed the eggplant on my antipasta plate oh yes the order doesnt come with pita it is extra. This place is a joke. Do not even try it plus they are rude.
