Greektown is one of those places where the personality is part of the meal, and that is not a bad thing.

We went for the first time and ended up getting steered toward the “secret platter.” I was originally debating between the gyro platter and a pasta special with kabab meat, but the waiter suggested the secret platter instead. I've gone to this restaurant 4 times now and each time the food has been great. However, the real shining star of this restaurant is the service. It is a true family run business using recipes passed down within their family. They are SUPER friendly and genuinely interested in making your experience great. The last time I was there I was debating between 2 items and our waiter generously offered to just make 1/2 portions of both so I didn't need to choose...who does...

12/19/25: Still an excellent dining experience. We hadn't been here since they renovated a year or so ago. All but the Mom came by our table and we never wanted for anything; they were all on top of their game. Food, service, ambiance, Greektown has it all.

Appetizers: feta & olives plus saganaki. Awesome. Meal: capama & chops. Double awesome! The chops were perfectly seasoned, and the meat was fall-off-the-bone tender. Dessert: baklava cheesecake....
