The menudo here is sooo bomb with all the toppings included. I can eat menudo here every Sunday for the rest of my life and I wouldn't be mad!Chilaquiles are fire also!Enchiladas, fire!Albondigas, bomb.Only complaint would be the wait on a Sunday lol and the chorizo could use more flavoring.

Um so finally tried this place and was not as impressed as the previous guest who left ratings were. The food was mediocre at most. There was no wow factor at all. I ordered a chimi and it was quite bland and fried to an extreme crisp. The little meat there was in the chimi was very bland and lacking and it was overpowered by the peppers, onions and jalapeño. I've had better more authentic Mexican from a food truck in Cali. I gave it two stars because the server was very nice and on point. Atmosphere was pretty dim and just okay. They do follow the cdc guidelines for masking up and from what I saw the cleanliness is there too. Just wish the food was on point too. I will not be going back.

Love this place for authentic homemade Mexican food. I've been coming here for lunch for years. Today was the first time I've made it for breakfast and it did not disappoint. I highly recommend the Machaca Chilaqis Huevos Combo. yummy!

I've been coming here for years. Always crave their chicken mole with rice and beans. It is amazing and it's a huge portion. The chicken is so tender and flavorful. They offer the mole in enchiladas which is also yummy. We normally come here with a large party: family gatherings, work meetings/luncheons. Staff is great, friendly, and attentive. Their lunch menu is great too. Lots of food and different options to choose from: tacos, chimichangas, enchiladas. Breakfast menu is also good. Traditional Mexican plates. The kind your grandma normally makes.

This place is so delicious. The food is authentic and the staff is great. We got the fish and shrimp ala veracruzana, enchiladas de mole, camarones al mojo de ajo, and a combo plate. This is the best Mexican restaurant in AZ IMO. The food tastes 100% on point.
Authentic Mexican food at its BEST! Chips and salsa were awesome as well as the beers on tap. Food was excellent and service was outstanding. Will go back again. Covid-19 compliant and felt safe to eat there inside. Plenty of space for our party of 5.

Possibly the best Mexican food in Phoenix. Everything I've tried is amazing. Service is great. And prices are reasonable. It gets pretty busy here but they offer take out and delivery I believe. Oh and the flan, it's a must try!

I've gone here many times and and get the same thing. The red chile burrito enchilada style. It hits the spot each time. You can not go wrong with this meal, it is huge and delicious. I wish I took a picture of the salsa & chips and the soup they give you before your meal. This place is clean, has friendly service, and great food!

During COVID they told us one hour wait which we agreed to, after an hour they told us it would be half an hour more. Once we actually get into the building we see 2 or 3 people occupying huge tables that could be occupied by large parties by us (mind you this is aside from every other table being occupied and some removed - that part is fine). Now we are seated and we waited over 15 additional mins for someone to stop ignoring us and actually take our order. Too many waiters walking around looking busy when half the tables are not being occupied we see themplaying around (very unorganized)for the amout of people that they are serving. In fact someone comes and asks us a question about an order, we tell them we didn't even order yet and she walks away and never makes eye contact with us again. I understand these are strange times and there was no set protocol for the times we are going through. But wow, after all this they could not even get our order right once some actually did come over and take our order?!?!? One drink completely missing and our appetizer not even placed into our order!!!!!! (-_-) Did I mention you're open for half the time too; which gives you plenty of time to rest, get your mind in order, and actually serve your customers with respect being greatful there is a long line of loyal customers who are willing to wait hours outside in the heat because we cannot wait in the lobby. I am totally for supporting our small businesses and have come here all my life, but truly this types of experiences are making it VERY HARD to come back at all.

I saw their story on the news last week that they were struggling during covid-19 and wanted to support them. This place is amazing, great staff, good location, and super organized for take out. We had the cheese enchiladas and they were perfect, 100% old school authentic.
