I had already eaten dinner but I had a friend who had been walking all day who was hungry so I went ahead and got some of their food and let me tell you rave review is all around I tasted a piece of the chicken and my friend gobbled everything else within minutes. The staff is super informative and they literally are just standing around waiting to help you in some way and they work together as a team which is cool to watch.

I went about 1pm during the week. It was a hand full of people there. I was greeted and asked if I need a menu. I ordered online so I gave the name and it was ready. I heard this place had great food. I order the 2 piece, wing/breast, mac and cheese with greens.The batter on the chicken was interesting, however it was very crispy and good. I didn't notice the chicken was spicy(wasn't aware it only comes in spicy). The mac was sprinkled with I'm guessing paprika, it was good. Very creamy and cheesy, I wasn't a fan of the greens, the flavor was good but the texture was off. I wish I would have know the chicken was spicy before I got back to work. I will try them again.

This is my 2nd time having Gus’s chicken. It is amazing. The greens and Cole slaw are yummy too. I got a slice of sweet potato that was excellent also.

Better than the original. I'm from the Memphis area and have been eating at Gus' a long time. My best friend lives in Mason and we've eaten there for several years as well as the Front Street (in Memphis) location and various others aroudn the country. This one is my favorite . Service is good. Food is cooked fresh. Their chicken offering and side offering is great. Clean resturant, good location, easy parking. But most of all, it's consisent. At some other Gus' you never know what you might get. It's always good here. I usually go for the okra or greens and beans but the mac and cheese is very good.
All I can say is WOW!!!What a place!!!I haven’t had some good ole’ Fried Okra and Cole Slaw in a very time.Gus’s is my new go-to!!Just need a Scottsdale location.Pretty please!!!

If I could give it more than a five I would. I was in phoenix For my niece's baptism and one of the ladies at the church recommended this place to eat before flying back home. Let me tell you, I was totally blown away. Food was beyond outstanding and then entire crew from manager on were AWESOME. Felt like Sunday dinner at mommas, and I'm 70. The topper is I found out there is 1 near me in Austin and I hope that it is just as good, but Phoenix has already set the bar for me
