Dining at Hanny’s is always an experience to savor a seamless blend of atmosphere, flavor, and refinement. The restaurant itself carries an understated elegance, where the charm of its historic character meets a modern sense of sophistication. Every detail, from the ambient lighting to the thoughtful presentation of each dish, speaks of care and craftsmanship.
Yet what truly elevated the evening was the exceptional service provided by Georgie. His gracious demeanor and genuine warmth transformed a lovely meal into something remarkable. Georgie’s attentiveness never felt rehearsed, rather, it was the effortless kind that comes from someone who truly takes pride in their work. He balanced professionalism with a personal touch, anticipating needs before they were spoken and ensuring that every guest felt seen and valued. He also selects my drinks upon my request and has NEVER failed. We’re talking quite a few times I’ve been here, and will continue to.
On top of that, Georgie’s knowledge of drinks was seriously impressive. He offered thoughtful recommendations that matched our meal perfectly and introduced us to a cocktail we probably never would’ve tried on our own, and it ended up being a favorite. You can tell he really knows his craft and enjoys sharing that expertise in a friendly, approachable way.
It is rare to encounter someone whose presence enhances both the experience and the memory of a place, but Georgie did just that. His beautiful attitude, composure, and dedication to his craft are a reflection of what hospitality should be, not merely service, but care delivered with heart and respectability.
Hanny’s remains a destination worth revisiting, and Georgie’s excellence ensures that the experience lingers long after the final course. I will no longer eat here unless Georgie is my server.

First time visiting from out of town and they did bit disappoint. Pizza and Cesar salad is chefs kiss. Was easy to be seated and service was top tier 10/10. Drinks were good but if you are looking for strong, order the old fashion. Also, prices are very reasonable and affordable especially for such good quality food and drinks. Def will be back next time in Phoenix

The department store vibe was there. The bathroom mirrored hallway was unique. Dimily lite bathrooms on the second floor. Stairs and elevator accessible. Quick trip to another set of stairs off the front door lead to the basement dolls. Honestly my food wasn't that good. I had a gluten free pizza with sausage, onion and mushrooms with vegan cheese. Base price on my pizza was 30.00. There was this small crumbly tasteless sausage and so many gross baby onions chopped itty bitty. It was crazy. I ate two slices. My friend had the regular chicken pesto flat bread, and he said it wasn't something he'd do again, but it was hella better than mine. I didn't drink. He had two. service was quick and she was in attentive. Parking is either garages nearby or street with metered parking spots.
