I was actually super disappointed with my experience at Hanny’s. I have always heard really good things about this place but what I experienced was nothing like what I’ve heard. My friend and I came here at 11pm on a Thursday after a show. We immediately placed an order for fries and let the bartender know we needed a minute to look at the drink menu. Well it took over 20 minutes for the bartender; Elijah to come back to take our order, there were only 4 other people at the bar. Our fries came out before the bartender even took our drink order!!!! We ordered Moscow mules and they were so bad we didn’t even drink half of them. Pretty much a waste of $40. I have no intention of ever coming back.

Decent food with an upscale bar/club vibe restaurant in a previous department store. The mannequin is an incredible work of art. The atmosphere of this place is pretty cool… the restrooms are bizarre (in a fun way) and the basement dolls are a must see. The food is decent… lots of flatbreads/pizza options and sandwiches, and drinks are ok. Our server kept forgetting stuff, that was somewhat disappointing. I honestly thought everything was slightly overpriced for what you get; maybe more “shrinkflation” I guess. Regardless, it’s a hip restaurant in downtown Phoenix and close to the venue of a concert we were attending. Worth a visit if you’re ever in the area.

Upon landing I saw this awesome building and immediately wanted to go into it - its a former department store from the 1940s and now a great multi-level experience that serves up some of the best pizza and champagne. Jose was so great at describing each menu item we asked about : so well that will will come back and try all the other foods : i love that there is a LIVE DJ I really appreciated the art here, too. There is a monochromatic sculpture in the front window that is made of found objects and wrapped in the most cool and complicated way. ALSO, let's not ever leave this place until you've experienced this bizarre amazing immersive elevator AND DOLLS IN THE BASEMENT! - What! they set them all facing forward on at a table made out of the original elevator door! and the table is covered in coins! So very cool! I would love to rent this out for a party for sure! Thank you for your space Hanny's we plan to be back and would love to host a party with you during our stay here in Phoenix!

The food was fine if a little pricey. There are only gender neutral bathrooms or male oriented bathrooms. Honestly fine with those options except they were not well cleaned at all. The dark blue/neony lights "for ambience" really don't let you see anything in there (like pee on the seat - would recommend your phone flashlight).
Elevators don't appear to be in service and bathrooms are on the second floor - some bathrooms are wheelchair accessible though?
Service was honestly meh. Our server didn't pay us that much attention, or keep us updated without us asking regarding the card reader system being down. Ended up having to pay cash or waiting for their system to come back on which was an unknown factor.
It looked like a cool interesting place but the service and bathroom situation outweighed the atmosphere and food.

A must visit restaurant! Highly recommend the steak, gluten free pizza and tiramisu. The upstairs floor has a great little photo shoot vibe right next to the restrooms. (Ps they’re disgusting so don’t use them) and the dolls downstairs are a must see .
