This is the second time I’ve ordered online from this place. The first time it was a lady there never acknowledge me, but she did say thank you after she handed me my order. She clearly had an attitude from the look on her face. To I ordered it online again walk in to pick up my order. This time a male was there with his pants hanging down a little, showing his underwear, A little knit little hat on his head, looking down at his phone when I walked in never smiled, Never greeted me. I told him my name for my order, he m handed It to me never opened his mouth until I said it, “are you mad?” He said no I’m not have a good day ma’am , Have a good day. Basically, like get the hell out of here. This Harold gets Chitown a horrible name and I’m originally from Chitown town . They have the worst customer service ever!!! This is why a lot of the busyness go down. Customer service is a priority And they should be ashamed of themselves if they didn’t wanna work, they shouldn’t work With the public . If they own the place, That’s even worse becausethey need to close it down and go back for training for customer service.

They clearly don’t care about making money or keeping customers.. truly shocking they still have a location considering they constantly open hours past stated opening hours, restaurant is absolutely filthy and workers are incredibly rude.. from Chicago and even some of the Harold’s back there in dicey parts of the city are cleaner with more respectful staff than this establishment. Go elsewhere

This place has some of the worst customer service. I ordered online because that’s the only way you can order ahead their website doesn’t have their full menu that you see in store. When ordering you can NOT adjust the pick up time nor is there a comment box. I placed a large order for 9 people and because it’s lent I wanted to order early. I called the store per the confirmation email that I received the phone just plays an automated message saying to come in or order online. Because it was still early in the day I left work and drove 40mins to tell them it would be for later. They said that it CANT be for later nor can she give me a refund I order online so it’s my fault. Now the food has been decent the last couple of times I’ve been not like back at home doe and the guy working the counter one day has no idea what mild sauce was but after this experience I will not be returning. I’m even more annoyed that I already tipped these people. It’s just a shame black people try to support their people and this is how you get treated. And if you order there before these no way 9 combos oh sorry 8 because I would have ordered the 9th person plate when I got there was done when i arrived the food could have been sold to someone else but she said all she’s going to do is throw it away smh. Very nasty very rude

That old bald man with the colorful cloth on his head in the front clearly hates his job! He is very rude, he specifically gives ME attitude because of them constantly not including items in the bag that I PAID for!! He ignored me when i came in for my order then proceeded to ask my friend if he needed any help as if I didn’t pay for said order… the food is great but bruh man needs to be fired ASAP!

I was really surprised when my son brought me my food from Harold's chicken today. There were two kinds of crinkle cut fries in my order. Some were hard as a rock, probably from an earlier batch, and the others were semi-soft but they were cold. The chicken was just ok. Please stay consistent. This is the first time I experienced my food tasting subpar from Harold's out here in Phoenix 😬 I'm from Chicago and I usually come here when I want a taste of home. Today's chicken was not good at all!!

Love coming here to get a lil taste of home and it's always good but man... Of the guy who always takes my order would at least smile.... Sometimes, I would have gave 5 stars..he's not very friendly, very monotone and isn't very welcoming. He ALWAYS looks like he's been there from open to close and is tired and ready to go. Give him a vacay or something please. FYI he's not rude but not at all welcoming. I still patronize but That's why you don't get five stars across the board for me

Asked for the fish fried hard, but the crust slid right off and the fish wasn’t even done — super slimy. The wings didn’t seem fresh at all, looked like they were refried. Fries had no seasoning annd soggy! Only decent thing was the sauce. If you’re from Chicago, you know this is a disgrace.
