I would argue that Harvey’s has the best burger in Phoenix. On top of that they cook them to your desired doneness which is another step up. The consistency of the food is dead on. If you order a medium rare wineburger, you’ll get one every single time.

The service is also particularly good, but you have to become a regular to truly appreciate it. If you come in the middle of a busy game, you’re gonna have to stand there and wait for a spot to sit. But if you’re patient and come back a few times you’ll be rewarded with hardworking servers who are nice and may even remember your order from memory. If you’re extra lucky you’ll get a little nod from the busy cook who’s slinging burgers. Jazz in particular is one of the great staff members, she makes Harvey’s feel homey and familiar. I wish we could see her more when we’re there at night.

We visit Harvey's quite often, unfortunately the last couple of times have been awful. But this last was beyond. We got there had a couple in front of us waiting. We let them sit ahead of us because they were in a hurry . No problem. We ordered a drink, waited some more were told by one of the bartenders that we were next in line. A couple of guys come in and she sat them on the table she had just cleared for us. I asked her about it, she apologized, we were sitting at the bar by this time still waiting and I went to the ladies room. By the time I came back the blonde bartender Alissa told my spouse that he and his wife could come back another time. That we had to leave... She got mad because he asked again when we were being sat!! She is always in a bad mood and it's very well known and established, with that said we go because of the food, burgers, obviously. This time it was beyond, most customers were commenting on it, it was almost a running joke. Well it's all fun and games until you forget about us, are rude about it, seat other people before us again and then ask us to leave. Granted the other brunette bartender was beyond apologetic and was trying very hard to be kind and professional, Alisa never cared or payed attention. She had no idea we had been bypassed and then got angry that we questioned it. Her behavior is unprofessional normally but this time it was beyond. Needless to say we were upset. And not only did we leave feeling upset we left hungry after waiting and waiting. Our fault for that. But nothing merits her unprofessional and disgustingly rude behavior for nothing.

I had a crappy experience at this place. I came in tonight to try their much hyped burger. There is a blonde bartender there that is incredibly rude and unprofessional. I waited over an hour for the burger with fries. I was about to give up and leave when they finally came out. And I'm sorry to say it wasn't worth the hassle. Just average food and sub par service. Other than that, seems like a cool spot. : /

Tasty burger and crispy french fries. My server was neither attentive, accurate, or friendly, which was disappointing.

I am disgusted. 🤢 went in for my usual wings at my local bar, excited to relax and have dinner. What I got was watching the server/ bartender clean a table people ate at and put used ranch cups back in the fridge. They are in 2oz with lids not sealed. But to re-use food from a table you cleaned is BEGOND DISGUSTING!! Let's just say I will not be coming back. Me and my partner come here all the time, it sucks cus the wings are fire but now the food is UNSANITARY!

There maybe a lot of reasons why you would visit a bar, perhaps it's meeting up with a friend, watching a game, and having a beer. Or perhaps a diet coke and a burger with fries. Or- a little of everything. But let's talk about the burger and fries! Delicious. And the staff, while busy, still take the time to have a quick friendly chat, and refil your drink with laser like efficiently. It's busy for a reason, it's worth visiting.

Hands down, one of the best burgers I’ve ever had, even though the wait was a bit long. It’s a lively 21+ dive bar with great food, loud music, and a fun vibe perfect for grabbing a burger and beer with friends.

Harvey’s Wineburger makes the best patty melt in Phoenix, with crispy rye bed, a generous patty, grilled onions and gooey cheese. Excellent. The problem is that it’s noisy and dark, and the cook is a one-man show so I had to wait half an hour before I got my sandwich. It was worth it, but don’t go there if you’re in a hurry or want to enjoy a quiet conversation.
