This place gets 3 stars because I boyfriend enjoyed his salmon kale salad and our server was attentive.
The salmon was very dry.
Ribeye was just ok.
The polenta that comes with it is bouncy and has a cheese melted on it which is hard.
We accidentally went to this restaurant instead of Mercer and I truly regretted making that mistake.

Hearsay completely won me over from the moment I walked in. The atmosphere is exactly what you want when you're looking for an intimate dining experience — warm, inviting, and the kind of place that makes you want to linger long after your meal is done.
The food was genuinely impressive across the board.
Everything was well-crafted and flavorful, But the real standout of the night? The caramel vegan cheesecake. I honestly wasn't sure what to expect, but it was absolutely delicious — rich, creamy, and perfectly balanced with that caramel sweetness. It's the kind of dessert you think about on the drive home.
Drove 2 hours & I'll definitely be back — if only to order that cheesecake again.
Also Shabaz was an amazing waiter

I went for my birthday dinner with a friend and we really enjoyed the food! The fish tacos are delicious, as well as the burrata appetizer. I got the smoked marshmallow cocktail, which was fun! The salted caramel cheesecake was creative and to-die-for. Conveniently located just below the AMC theaters.

Beautiful restaurant, really nice people working there, and the beet hummus was amazing. Thanks for the many non alcoholic drink options!

Went to a wine tasting so probably a biased opinion since it was an event, but food was excellent, atmosphere was top notch. Definitely a happy hour or evening hang out spot to enjoy conversation and drinks.

Another excellent lunch at Hearsay. The refreshed menu delivered perfectly with new offerings. The Elote Dip and Chips, Polenta Fries, Rotisserie Chicken Cobb Salad, and Steakhouse Burger with and absolutely delicious brioche bun were the stars of the show. After several visits we have to commend the leadership of Hearsay as there is a sense of service cohesion not often found in the local market. Each time we are impressed by the waitstaff as they are not only consistently engaged with guests, they are knowledgeable and willing to offer suggestions from first hand experience. Thank you all again for making Hearsay what it is!
First time at Hearsay with a couple girlfriends of mine and the food was absolutely phenomenal. Was kind of put off by the fact that after we ordered appetizers, our server came back around and asked us if we were ready for our check before we had even ordered entrées. I don't believe the server ever came by to check on how the appetizers were tasting or to offer another bottle of wine.
Hearsay – Phoenix, AZ (Biltmore District)
Restaurant • Cocktail Bar • Events & Private Dining
Hearsay, located in the Biltmore area at 2501 East Camelback Road, Suite 10, is easily one of the best cocktail destinations in Phoenix. The space is elegant, modern, and thoughtfully designed, offering a warm, elevated atmosphere that works equally well for a casual happy hour, an intimate dinner, or a large private event.
I recently visited for a private event, and while I didn’t have a full meal, we ordered a variety of finger foods—charcuterie boards, small bites, and shared plates—and everything was beautifully presented, fresh, and genuinely delicious. The menu clearly places an emphasis on quality ingredients and visual appeal, which elevated the entire experience.
Where Hearsay truly shines is in its cocktail program. The drinks were crafted with creativity and precision, striking that perfect balance between bold flavor and refined elegance. Whether you prefer something classic or adventurous, this is one of the best places in Phoenix to enjoy a great cocktail. Their happy hour at the is definitely worth exploring for both value and variety.
Hearsay also offers flexible private dining spaces, which can easily accommodate both intimate gatherings and larger events. Their dedicated team handles the experience with professionalism, style, and genuine hospitality, making it easy to host unforgettable celebrations without stress. The event I attended felt curated—not just serviceable—which speaks volumes about their standards.
Overall, Hearsay is a standout in the Phoenix dining and cocktail scene, especially for those seeking an upscale yet comfortable environment with exceptional drinks and memorable events.
Highly recommend — 4.8 stars, just shy of perfection, and absolutely worth visiting.

Ok, I give 1 star for decor because while it’s nice that the interior designer did a beautiful job, it doesn’t impact the food. 2 stars for service as all service staff were very kind and welcoming. I can’t give any stars for food however and maybe I ordered the wrong things as I don’t see many reviews for the kale Caesar salad so let me be the first to say - it’s not good. I was thinking it would be as good as LGO’s kale salad but I was rudely mistaken. It lacked flavor and even the presentation was lackluster. I ordered it with chicken and unfortunately they forgot it. I also ordered a side of salt and pepper fries, they were nothing special and honestly a little burnt. I ended up getting the chicken when I was more than half way done with my meal and that was decently good, well seasoned and juicy. The waiter ended up removing the chicken from my bill, unprompted which I appreciated. I’ll look to review again if I come back and try something better, I did hear the woman next to me raving about the tomato soup and turkey club sandwich - so maybe try that and you’ll have a better experience than I did!

After easily parking, we were warmly greeted at the restaurant. Tables offer ample spacing, and the noise level is low. The menu is tempting in many ways. You can't go wrong with starting with the Elote Dip & Chips and minutes after that the table was ready for the other main plates. Did I mention the cocktails? Try their Spritz and be happy! Salads, sandwiches, bowls are to die for...and I had to order their truffle fries! The team was attentive, discreet but very efficient! We love the place ! Thanks for the experience, the good food and all the smiles. We will return.
I’m honestly heartbroken and upset after my experience here. I came in really wanting to like this place, but I left feeling completely disrespected and discriminated against.
My entrée was served before my cocktail, which made no sense for a proper dining experience. I told them I wanted to enjoy my cocktail first, so they took my plate away. I waited over 30 minutes, and when I asked for my food again, they brought out the exact same plate from earlier. The pasta was soggy, the sauce looked reheated, and for $22, it was unacceptable.
When I brought this up, the manager didn’t apologize or even try to understand. Instead, she argued with me and made me feel like I was the problem. I wasn’t asking for a discount—just for what I paid for: a fresh, well-prepared meal.
The way she looked at me and spoke to me made me feel small and judged. I came in wearing joggers and carrying my laptop, and it honestly felt like she assumed I couldn’t afford to eat there. That’s discrimination, plain and simple.
No one should ever be treated that way in any restaurant. I left feeling embarrassed, humiliated, and deeply disappointed.

Bad service
Excellent service, great gluten free options, even the chips, which the manager brought out and they are the gluten free brand. Also the chicken wrap was great in a gluten free wrap.
