I recently used Helpings Cafe to cater my daughter’s baby shower. The staff made it easy to submit my order, helping me make the best modified order to fit my attendees. The food was delicious, fresh, and flavorful! There were options for both carnivores and vegetarians! I even had a vegan show up unexpectedly and they were still able to find a good selection of food to eat. Across the board, my experience with Helpings Cafe was 10 stars and I look forward to my next opportunity to use their skills.

The best kept secret in the valley while helping the homeless. Seriously some of the best food I've ever eaten outside my own kitchen. Everything is made to order and made with love. You'll never be disappointed.! The staff is fantastic and it's always a great experience.

Very friendly people, I definitely love it my salmon sandwich with fries! My green tea with peach lemonade! Very refreshing and delicious, good food, clean place, good costume service! Beside that you just not enjoying great meal; you eating with satisfaction of a great delicious meal and for helps who’s needs it most ! I lived at UMOM 19 years ago. And I'm a success story. Me and my children moved to the shelter in June 2005 I got my GED and did chores and volunteered. After completing the 2 year program we moved to Des Moines Iowa and have been living in the same home for 17 years . Very happy.

So I come in here and the signs are wrong on the muffins. I order something and she grabs it from a different area I’m like I said lemon poppy seed she says this is but the signs are wrong. I’m buying with my eyes so I said well I want the one where the sign is. She tells me“ I didn’t put the sign up “ What great customer service I thought it would make her job easy as well that way customers order the right item. Does it MATTER who put sign up.
