I would NOT RECOMMEND this cafe , also all the money they make IS NOT GOING INTO HELPING END HOMELESSNESS!!!!!! They are VERY UNPROFESSIONAL and OVERPRICED and the FOOD ISNT THAT GOOD EITHER for them to be overpriced. I had a bad experience as being a client literally being next door at Umom and was told we couldn’t eat lunch here mind you they are all in the same organization and work in the same kitchen and all cook the same food and give us food during holidays but we can’t eat in the cafe ! Mind you I’m 40 weeks pregnant and was trying to eat a little something as I was getting ready to meet someone so I won’t faint and as well feed my daughter and was told I couldn’t eat in there !!! I will never RETURN THERE it’s bad for business and DISGUSTING and Discrimination!!! Especially as a pregnant mom and I was coming there before buying things as a regular customer and had to experience that . Unprofessional there at the cafe an as well as the shelter!!!! DO NOT DONATE MONEY HERE OR ANYTHING OF THAT SORT THEY ARE NOT ENDING HOMELESSNESS IT JUST GOES BACK IN THEIR POCKETS NOT SHELTER OR CLIENTS!!!!!!!!! BEWARE

Helpings has great service and great food. I have had a few dishes here that were delicious. I loved how they did their Omelets, not incorporating everything together. They got 5Stars from me for that alone. Most places end up overcooking the eggs when they mix everything, so I normally don’t order omelets anyway for that very reason. I gave it a shot here and was thoroughly surprised and impressed. Overall it is very good place to give a try.

I recently used Helpings Cafe to cater my daughter’s baby shower. The staff made it easy to submit my order, helping me make the best modified order to fit my attendees. The food was delicious, fresh, and flavorful! There were options for both carnivores and vegetarians! I even had a vegan show up unexpectedly and they were still able to find a good selection of food to eat. Across the board, my experience with Helpings Cafe was 10 stars and I look forward to my next opportunity to use their skills.

The best kept secret in the valley while helping the homeless. Seriously some of the best food I've ever eaten outside my own kitchen. Everything is made to order and made with love. You'll never be disappointed.! The staff is fantastic and it's always a great experience.
