Came to Hillside Café for brunch after a hike and ordered a burrito and a cookie. Unfortunately, I only ended up getting the cookie 😩. My partner even waited a few minutes for my food to come out, only to find out the burrito order was never put in, so I declined. The cookie was okay, but I was really looking forward to the burrito after the trail.

The four of us ordered 2 hamburgers and two salads. The pairs enjoyed the peanut dressing on their salads. I had a mushroom Swiss hamburger. The bun was more hearty than the typical white bun and was very tasty as was the hamburger. For us, the quiet music and high ceilings made conversation easy as opposed to restaurants with loud background music so we appreciated the quieter atmosphere. Plenty of sports games on the televisions but we never watched. The server was excellent and checked back several times while we ate.

Our first time at the Hillside Spot. Steven greeted us at the door and Dylan took our order and gave us a quick history on the menu and our local Hillside Spot. Breakfast was El Jefe Omelette… so good! The lemon strawberry cake we had for dessert was awesome! Thanks for the great service, we will definitely be back!

Fantastic service and variety of options for decent prices and especially since I'm extremely gluten intolerant, they have options for that. I was able to enjoy a hamburger again! Quality is great and they have a wide selection of adult beverages if you're into that.

Can't believe we'd never been here before. A nice breakfast lunch spot. It's way bigger on the inside than it appears to be from the outside. We didn't have to wait very long for a table of 4, maybe 5 minutes tops. I got the Cuban because I wanted hot and tangy and buy did it deliver. It was a pressed sandwich and it tasted like something I'd make at home, I was very impressed. The fries were good and we could order them unseasoned for our son. Our son got the adult sized grilled cheese which we loved but he did not enjoy the cheese because of course it wasn't just standard American cheese but he ate enough to fill up. Can't wait to go back, now I just need to decide if I'll try something else because how can I skip the Cuban Pressed Sandwich now knowing how good it is???
