Dis so called “Hawaiian” joint is nutin n e Hawaiianb from da aina would eat or eva enjoy! Da food… no ono! (no talkin bout fish… if they don’t know what ono is… well de stupid) It’s a slap in da face to Hawai’i!! The decor is not Hawaiian… well, de tink it is, but true braddahs and sistas, NTs & Uncles would neva believe dis stupidity. Dis place prides emselves on being Hawaiian… they are def haoles pretending to be Hawaiian cuz pineapple is not served on Hawaiian food, but Hula’s think it’s “Hawaiian” because it has pineapple! The burnt edamame was garbage. My braddahs and me left and will gladly neva return. Those that tink dis is Hawaiian is stupid
Came in tonight, we go every Friday to sit in Tia’s section. Told the hostess to begin with we wanted Tia’s section and somehow ended up in another section. Don’t think it was the hostess’s fault but we couldn’t get switched so that was the first disappointment. Service was a little slow. Food was just okay. Normally it’s better. My brother’s sliders came out a good 5 minutes after everything else did. None of the food came out at the same time. Then when we were leaving we waited another 10 minutes for boxes and the check. Before we got the boxes, the bus boy took my son’s teriyaki chicken bowl when he wanted to take his left overs home, without us knowing. When we realized it was gone we told our waitress, she was very sorry and said she would get us one to go and have it quickly. Waited another 10 minutes she brings out what was supposed to be a kids teriyaki chicken bowl. We trusted that’s what it was and left. We get home, open the box and it’s some old French fries and a few chicken bites. Which was already cold. Threw it in the trash. My son was super disappointed to the point where he wanted to cry cause he just wanted his teriyaki chicken bowl. I’ve been here too many times to count and the one time I don’t have Tia as my server when I specifically asked for her, I have the worst experience. I’m giving 3 stars because I feel bad giving any less, I love this place. But not 5 star service tonight. I wouldn’t have left the review if we would have got the teriyaki chicken bowl to go like the waitress said we would get. But someone just threw some old fries in there with some chicken bites.
Food here is on point. Decent drink selection. Reasonable happy hour. Fun atmosphere. If you wear a Hawaiian shirt, you might get laid.
Dried food stuck on the seat
Great food and specials. Restaurant was loud and warm.
Food was delicious, but only a handful of gluten free options
Some drinks were awesome, others OK, but there is a wide variety.
We love the Hapu macadamia crusted fish with rice and ginger coleslaw. Very tasty and big portions. Fun atmosphere and great food. Reasonable prices are a plus

This is a great dog friendly restaurant. They even have a dog menu. The patio is nice, with plenty of nearby parking. They have very unique flavors and dishes, so I recommend trying what you think sounds good. I've tried a few dishes, and they were all good. Enjoy!
