My friends and I were visiting from Chicago and decided to stop and eat here before going to a Basketball Suns game. We ordered the Humble Fries and Humble Brussels and they DID NOT disappoint!! This place is truly a staple in downtown Phoenix. My favorite part was the Humble Caesar with Blackened Chicken and the Yes Way Rose. Everything was a 10/10!!

I’ve been to Humble Bistro several times before and have always had good experiences, which is why this visit stood out — and not in a good way.
When I came in, the restaurant was nearly empty — only two guests in a booth — but there were at least 6–7 employees present. I initially walked out because it felt so quiet, but decided to come back in after hearing good things about the shrimp appetizer.
I sat at the bar to place a takeout order and wasn’t acknowledged at all. No greeting, no “we’ll be right with you,” nothing. Meanwhile, multiple staff members — including what appeared to be a manager — were gathered nearby talking and laughing.
I sat there for several minutes as the only person at the bar and still received no service. Eventually, I got up and left. On my way out, I let the host know why I was leaving, and the response I received was, “Do you want me to tell them?” At that point, it was already too late.
This wasn’t a matter of being busy — it was a lack of awareness and urgency. It didn’t feel good to be completely overlooked in a nearly empty restaurant.
I’m sharing this because I’ve had good experiences here before and would like to continue coming back, but this level of service needs to be addressed.

Stayed at Adeline Apartments through VRBO. While I was searching around the greater area of Phoenix for apartments this past week. Came to this place a couple of times.
I recommend the short rib pappardelle or any of their pies!
The atmosphere is small but quiet!
The staff has always been helpful, courteous, and professional.

Was originally going to eat at another location but due to an hour wait we decided to try out Humble Bistro instead and it DID NOT dissapoint! We were sat immediately on a nice booth, the atmosphere was so nice along with the music. Shout out to our server Melanie who was so professional, happy and so helpful with her recommendations! We got the gentleman pizza and recommended pasta, and it was delicious!!! So good we went ahead and ordered the tiramisu dessert! Overall 5 stars. Had an amazing time here.

Excellent selection of Italian with a mix of other international fair. Will be coming back. Who breaks up the Brussels sprouts on a bed of mild jalapeño hummus with bacon bits-incredible. Amazing service and the chef, Jorge came out and shared his travels providing for such an amazing culinary experience. Plus the wines. Ohhh the wines - best selection in downtown Phx.
Thank You

Great option for Italian food in downtown phoenix. Ordered the pizza and husband ordered chicken parmigiana. Food came quick and service was amazing. Pizza crust was amazing and meat fresh and tasy. The side ceaser salad was amazing. Our server was very attentive and made sure all was good. My only complaint was the music l which was kind of loud for dinner vibes. Other than that everything was amazing.

Industrial design of the place fits well with downtown adress, but the service is absolutely opposite of cold, friendly and helpful. The food was fresh and tasty. I really enjoyed the salad.

We love love love it here!
I dislike downtown parking and find 99% of whatever is there not worth the hassle.
This restaurant is undoubtedly worth the hassle or the taxi. Well paired tasting profiles on each dish and the wine. The brussel sprouts and artichoke on the smorgasbord were to die for. Everything on that board was heavenly. The music was incredible - japanese and french jazz.
No notes 😋 will recommend to anyone.

Ella was a fantastic bartender, she eloquently told me about the menu offerings and enticed me into getting dinner when I had only came in for a snack. I tried the meatballs and absolutely loved the forno bread. I finished my meal with the braise short rib pappardelle. The meal was utterly amazing and I enjoyed every bite. I also just happened to see a bottle of William Larue Weller on the shelf and just had to try it after I had finished my midwinters night dram. I was very pleased with everything and I can’t give enough praise to Ella and her Manager that stopped by to help me find out which year the WLW was. My price per person is a lil higher than usual cause of my drink choices
