Ike's Love & Sandwiches

Horrible. Got off work late but GPS said I could get there at 8:59 so I called at 8:50 to make phone order. Employee said they don’t take phone orders after 8:45. Been going there once a week every Monday but probably not anymore. Location in Poway, CA

Delicious 🤤 but tiny portions for the bowls ! Stick to the subs if you want to be full ! Prices are not bad , but I love big salads and it was lacking veggies 🥗 the vegan steak was actually loaded up though lol

Am a local desert ridge resident so popped in here for “a sammich” for first time. Was basically okay, and the same quality and type as fast food sandwich preparation. I don’t know if I caught the order taker gal on a bad day, and it wasn’t busy at all, but she was very impatient when I asked questions because I’ve never been here before. Oh well…….gave it a shot!

Reason for 4 stars- I wish all sandwiches could be ordered as half/a 5 inch…cause it’s too much of a temptation to wanna finish the other half.??? Especially if I’m on the go & can’t refrigerate the other 1/2. I’ve came here frequently enough to go ahead & attach my number to rewards! LOL First time trying their whole wheat bread & it was ? not dry at all. My sandwich pic earlier is my new fav.! I’m not a lemonade person, but the peach one is ?

Most Ike's shops are amazing, this one is overpriced and they skimp on the meats. It was great when they first opened, now it's disappointing and you can get more food elsewhere for half the price.

Great food. Poor service. They say they close at 7, but they’ll shoo you away if you come anytime after 6.

I had never heard of this sandwich shop, and on a recent Business trip here to Arizona, I found this place twice for lunch.

Had the Reggie Jackson (Ham, Bacon, Extra Dirty Sauce, and American) and the Paul Ruben (Pastrami, Purple Slaw, French Dressing, Swiss) and loved both sandwiches! Tasty and on good bread with high quality fillings and plenty of meat.

Both meals were accompanied by Zapp’s Chips, some of my favorites, and a complimentary lollipop!

Avery, the GM was helpful and made excellent suggestions.

100% found a great stop for any businessman on a hunt for high quality and quick lunch!! There’s no photo of the sandwich… Because it’s gone!
