We celebrated a 40th birthday with a family of 14 at this Indian restaurant, and it was a fantastic experience. Our hostess, Sofia, was absolutely exceptional — welcoming, attentive, and professional. She managed our large group effortlessly, making sure everything ran smoothly and that we all felt comfortable.
Thanks to Sofia’s outstanding service, our celebration was truly memorable. The food was delicious, and the atmosphere was perfect. Highly recommend!

I came with a group of my friends from our senior community for lunch buffet today (Wed. Nov. 19, 2025)
First of all, the server who seated us was not very friendly or cordial. Then, most of the buffet dishes were cold. The onion pakodas were limp and soggy. When I mentioned this to the server, there was no apology. She merely shrugged and walked away.
Secondly, when we asked if we could use separate credit cards to pay our individual bills, I was told that no more than 3 credit card transactions could be processed. No other restaurant has done this to us before. Our group eats at various restaurants on a regular basis.
Thirdly, the total bill of $225.65 was a rude surprise for 8 buffet lunches, $17.99 each. We paid by credit card.
The food alone was $147.67. That was correct. However she added a 18% service charge of $26.58 plus a tip of $32.23, making it a total tip of $58.81, so 39.8% tip for a buffet lunch. She never asked me if I wanted to add a separate tip on top of the 18% service charge. I had no time to check, so I paid the full amount.
Typically, the service charge is considered the tip (especially if there was a buffet and no extra work for the server).
Three years ago (July 2022), we celebrated an 80th birthday banquet at this location and we were happy with the service. JOJO was our contact person and did a great job of serving our needs back then. You can see our great 5 star Google review about that event in 2022.
This time, we are really disappointed and disgusted with the service. This practice of adding a tip in addition to a service charge without approval is unethical. It is not acceptable to add a 39.8% charge as a tip for a buffet lunch. Please see attached photo of the bill.
We may not come back or recommend your restaurant to anyone else after this negative experience.

Wish I could say there was a silver lining, but this buffet was an outright disappointment from start to finish. Dal was watery and tasteless. White rice sat on a tray with a cover underneath — unhygienic. Rice pudding was sour, carrot halwa smelled spoiled, and gulab jamun was frozen and rubbery. Dahi wada was half-fried — raw inside.
chicken curry tasteless, mutton horrible.
To top it off, garlic naan was separately charged
Poor food, bad hygiene. Avoid at all costs.

For starters upon entering the restaurant me and my guest was not greeted. I didn’t notice because I was checking out the place which is nice don’t get me wrong it’s a beautiful place on the inside. But we had the buffet while eating I noticed that my food was cold. At first I thought it was me but it really was. As I spoke with the guy behind the buffet he told the lady that was working upfront which by the way was very rude the same lady who didn’t greet us as we walked in. So out of curiosity I asked about the building because it’s two levels and she act as if she was bothered that I was asking her question. Back to the cold food so they started to check to see if the burners were lit and like I thought they weren’t a guy came from the back took 10-15 minutes to fix at the same time the lady from upfront was having the cooks make more food so she was bringing food out as the guy was working to get the buffet back lit.. I will not be coming back here customer service is a zero

Overall, my experience here was ok. Here’s some thoughts on the food and first some lows: a had a lot of black rotted and slimy lettuce bits in the salad. I hate wasting food so I picked what I could out and ate it, but that was unpleasant. I didn’t like the taste and texture of the kheer. Some highs: I liked the tandoori chicken and Chana masala. The other dishes: lamb vindaloo, saag, and chicken Korma were ok. The vindaloo was very, very mild. I was hoping for some spice but I understand that in a buffet, a really spicy dish may not be well suited.
The service was very good with staff checking in frequently and clearing plates from the table and buffet line.
Decor was nice and there was some interesting decor pieces around.

I am not a picky eater and to me the food selection was fine, but one of the buffet chicken selection had bones in it so you have to gingerly eat that one and pull out the bones as you feel them.

The food was very delicious. I really enjoyed the cheese pakora and aloo matar with garlic naan. My friend had chicken tikka, and she loved her meal as well. The staff was friendly and accommodating.

Missing an entire item, and they didn’t refund me. I had to call to tell them and they agreed that they “ran out” of the item and didn’t put it in the bag.
My roommate has ordered from them before and the chicken was crispy with sautéed onions. They threw a raw chopped onion in with soggy chicken this time. Also the bread was supposed to have paneer… it had… you guessed it - more raw onions.
Oh, and I ordered rice because of my item that was missing. So now I have rice… which I wasted money on… and no entree.
Want to guess how much this cost for soggy chicken and raw onions? 96 bucks. GrubHub refunded the missing entree, only.
Last time I’ll order from them. They did not even call me to tell me an item would be missing.
Lazy. Because they didn’t call. I get that the economy sucks right now but don’t steal from people.

Excellent atmosphere. Visited the restaurant couple of times. Food was tasty. Quantity was good. Staff were polite and courteous. They offer lunch buffet everyday between 11:30 am to 4:30 pm. The food was healthy, tasty, variety of dishes, not spicy, so everyone can eat. Must try spot if you are in Phoenix
The tika masala and tandoor chicken were very good
