Weâve been here about 3 times, first time I tried their albondigas & the last 2 times their caldo de res has been perfect đ€€ served with toppings, rice and choice of tortilla(s). My bf loves their pork chile de rojo or red chile beef, both so delicious đ

This was one of the worst experiences I have ever had! From calling to find the new location because my maps showed me the 16th Ave and Roosevelt location to walking out of the restaurant. When I called to ask about the new location, the woman that answered the phone was rude â I asked her if they were open or if they moved locations and she said yes, we moved. I asked her where the new location was and instead of just giving me the new location she asked, âwhile where are you?â Walking into the restaurant there was no one in there other than two older gentlemen and we werenât greeted or welcomed. We (4 of us) sat down and were asked for drinks â when I asked what they had our waitress didnât even provide any options just asked if I wanted a soda in a can or bottle never offering a fountain drink. We got our food and never were offered refills on drinks, checked on whether we were ok or anything. The whole time we were there âIrmaâs daughterâ was giving us ugly stares from behind the register. One of the plates had eggs on them and when they were transferred to the plate with the rest of the food there was a hair that was under the eggs. The plate of food was not touched after that. It was never questioned either by the waitress if everything was ok. The carne asada bowl that was ordered shouldâve come with pico, guac and sour cream and it didnât have any of that in the bowl. We asked for the sides of them and when we went to pay they were trying to charge us for them and âIrmas daughterâ claimed it didnât come with the bowl and on the menu, it clearly read it did. The plate with the hair â âIrmas daughterâ told our waitress that she couldnât do anything about it because the manager wasnât there at the time. When we asked to contact Irma all of a sudden they were able to take the plate off the bill. When we went to pay, we had two separate orders â the first order was paid for and âIrmas daughterâ told us she had talked to Irma and that we were no longer welcome there (but Irma had stopped in while we were there and was very pleasant and welcoming to us) and told us we needed to leave or she was going to call the cops. I stayed at register to pay my portion as the rest of my party that had already paid was already at the door. âIrmas daughterâ was on the phone calling the cops and told them she had a customer that was trying to leave without paying HOWEVER I was at the register the whole time waiting to pay! This was the absolute worst experience!
Sadly I do not recommend this place and will never go back.
