Super clean, friendly staff and well run. Joe came up to us and recommended the blueberry jam for our table cakes. So good!

Rude waitress
Old, dirty, run down restaurant
Waffles that taste fresh out of the freezer and mushy frozen strawberries

The food was good, my pancakes were undercooked. I informed the server and she was quick to get new ones out. The food in general was very quickly made and I'll be back soon.

This is a a great family friendly place! Joe always stops by our table to say hi! All their comfort food is excellent. Make sure to ask for their cherry jelly to put on your biscuit it's wonderful!! Parking can be a little tricky but if the lot is full check the canal bank just to the north of the restaurant.

How??? How have I never heard of Joe's ? I love a diner and this is a perfect one! Our service was beyond outstanding! The food was delicious, especially the pancake!! The coffee is diner coffee but better, not that over burnt typical cup. Solid breakfast! New fav!!

The BEST breakfast in Phoenix, highly recommended, the pictures don’t do it justice. The biscuits and gravy are amazing along with their potatoes, pancakes, French toast and waffles.

I was invited here by repeat customers.

I got the Number 2 plate (I would rename it because it makes me think of poo lol). I added Pancakes. A friend shared some fried potato’s, those were good. The bacon was good. The egg was weird, like a big frisbee shape and had very little flavor. The pancakes…not so much. I would assume they were buttermilk because they smelled super sour, to the point I thought something was rotten. I finally located why I was smelling rotting food and that’s what it was. They tasted ok, nothing overly great.

Service was great. Our poor waitress had to give up a table for two hours since the others were planning out a trip.

Atmosphere is plain and a bit rough.

Jean took excellent care of me at the counter. Great breakfast and super friendly service. Extra parking in the back of the restaurant. I took away 1 star from my review because for breakfast, their syrup is way below my standards. It's thin, flavorless, and not even remotely good. I had to use their homemade jam (which is exceptional) on my pancakes. Heck, even corn syrup would be a step up from what they are serving. I'd like to see them use a better quality syrup or offer real maple syrup for an extra cost. But I'm definitely coming back! Great food, friendly service, and a nice variety of choices for breakfast and lunch
