Parking can be difficult, but there are a lot of surrounding parking options, if needed. Went with a group of 5 on a Friday afternoon (around 1) with staggering arrivals. This didn't seem to work as well for service, as it took a long time for each person to be recognized and served. Nachos and quesadilla were ordered, and both were good. The carnitas in the quesadilla was very good!

Wish for more meat! Had three tacos, two fish, one shrimp. Could not taste the meat! Way too much garnish on them! Churro was amazing though! Had the fruity pebbles one, and friends had the banana one. Fruity pebbles won!

Honestly the staff is great but the food is mediocre. The food here used to be so good. I don’t know what happened.
Tacos take a very long time to get and when they are served, the tortillas are cold.
About the tacos:
Mole taco: it’s not mole. It’s more of a light tinga taco. Very disappointing
Carne asada taco is more like a barbacoa taco. I assume it’s because steak is expensive and it’s easier to get cheap beef and marinade it versus a good piece of beef and grill it. Very disappointing. Not your traditional steak taco. You’ll get a better carne asada taco at a hole in the wall place.
Tuna tostada tastes like poke marinade (pacific islander marinade). The tuna is diced and stacked on top of a bed of lettuce. It’s ok.
Street corn is very dry, no hint of flavor not enough mayo and no hint of lime.
Crispy fish: excellent.
Grilled fish taco: excellent grilled flavor
I was a huge Joyride taco fan back in the day. It’s sad to see the changes in quality. But the staff couldn’t be nicer.

The service was really good and the atmosphere nice. The tacos and drinks were good. Sadly, the smaller nachos (nachitos) for happy hour weren't very good. We sent the first plate back. It looked appealing but most of it was cool. The second platec of nachos was hot, but was missing most of the carnitas & the toppings were sparse. The staff was very friendly & offered to take it back again, but we were hungry.

Our server Michael was very good, but he didn't make the food or drinks, which were bad all around. My margarita was just mix, and a bad mix at that, so I switched to beer. None of my party was happy with their food. We just decided to not complain and just not go back.

Honestly, probably some of the most BLAND, zero flavor “Mexican” food I’ve ever have…
Got a bowl with white rice, carne, veggies…
They 100% DO NOT season the meat, nor the veggies…
The only flavor I got from this meal, was the red sauce I put on top of it…
If you like bland food, disguised as “Mexican”, then this is your place… but I can almost GUARANTEE you, not a single Mexican person has anything to do with this menu

Excellent service! We were a group of 12 ~ seated in two booths next to each other. Waitress couldn’t have been more accommodating ~ offering menu suggestions, splitting our check, not rushing us. Menu had lots of options, satisfying children, vegans ~ everyone in our party was satisfied with dinner choice.

The atmosphere is fantastic—fun vibe and a great patio. Unfortunately, that’s where the positives end.
The food was average at best, and the drinks were weak. I ordered a ranch water, and it tasted like straight lime juice with barely a trace of tequila. The chips, salsa, and queso were solid, but beyond that, everything else was forgettable.
The real issue was the service. I understand that our server was new and being trained, but that’s no excuse for what we experienced. It took over 10 minutes just to get water, despite multiple staff members walking past our table. We ordered everything at once to avoid unnecessary delays, but the food still took way too long—even at 4 PM when the place wasn’t packed. My drink arrived first, but the other two were completely forgotten, forcing us to reorder.
Then came the bill. We had ordered during happy hour, but half our table’s order was charged at full price. After paying and tipping, I caught the mistake and had them correct it. They fixed the total but didn’t adjust the tip—meaning I tipped 20% on $70 instead of the corrected $50. Frustrating, but I let it go.
Bottom line: the service was unacceptable. The staff seemed inexperienced and inattentive, and it showed. This place has potential, but they need to get it together.

Talk about going in reverse!! Used to LOVE coming to Joyride, especially at happy hour during the week. As most places, they have raised their prices. Just recently they rolled out a new happy hour menu- which allows for HH 7days a week. The menu is pretty pitiful. Let me start by saying the alcoholic beverages are not the greatest. Not ONE lager is on happy hour and the mixed drinks they chose to be on HH, are not the greatest. I witnessed a female bartender “pre mixing” the margarita cocktail into a huge tub. Over heard her saying she “accidentally made too much” and after about observing her for half an hour, her alcohol to lime/orange juice ratio was concerning. She seemed lost or maybe absent minded. Needless to say, we had 2 drinks and after seeing that, we left. No one question this bartender or stopped her. She was pouring bottles after bottles into one of their mixing containers. Grabbing pitchers, handling them from the base, dunking them into the container, pouring it into another container. Touching her face walking around, the dish washer. Dunking the pitcher again. I mean unsanitary and unsafe to say the least. For the safety of us adults and blood to alcohol levels, take some better precaution, Joyride. They absolutely lost some customers over this as many around the bar were commenting the same things. Definitely not worth a high sugar- high alcohol percentage $6 drink. Be better.

Great tacos, though the price vs portion is high. Shrimp tacos are among the best in Phoenix, not mealy - bright fresh flavors, and ask for limes, they accentuate the flavors very well.
Salsa is smoky and has good kick, very tasty. Great chips. Atmosphere is fun and lively, patio dining is super fun with the big trees and fireplace, or large bench seat areas for bigger parties.
Parking: Parking is terrible - other nearby business's have dedicated spots you can't use, no street parking, very small lot. Show up early, prepare to vulture for a spot.
