A warm, sunny afternoon is a perfect time for Joyride's beautiful patio. Visited the Central Ave location many, many times and enjoyed great tacos and margaritas. But on this Sunday afternoon, we had such poor service that we probably won't return. We arrived at 1 pm to find the dining room empty and the large patio really hopping. Fun atmosphere and such great seating. Our Server, Jill, arrived about 5 minutes after we were seated. Ordered a Raspberry Mint Ranch Water and Diet Coke, unfortunately we sat with spicy salsa and chips, nothing to drink, for what seemed an eternity. Jill asked if we wanted to order, before the drinks arrived, which rubbed us the wrong way. She didn't see the timing was off. Her attitude was so blah, without banter or emotion, she just moved on. The Ranch Water cocktail arrived via the Bartender. Water arrived via the Table Runner, no Coke. We had to remind Jill who seemed bothered as she slammed it down in front of us. Four tacos and Spicy Street Corn arrived to a table full of empty glasses (see pic). My partner got so frustrated that she went inside and flagged down the Bartender for refill on the Coke. The food was delicious, really flavorful and well presented. Restaurant/bar is well decorated and inviting. But treating customers poorly is a deal breaker.

This is one of my absolute favorite Mexican food and taco places! They have awesome margaritas too. If you need gluten Free and vegan options, they are clearly marked on menu. Love the decor and great vibe inside and they have plenty of outdoor seating as well. You can bring your dogs too because the outdoor patio is dog friendly! It's really nice during the cooler months because the windows retract bridging the gap between the inside of the restaurant and outside. Plenty of all gender bathrooms too.

We had a great experience with Joyride for our catering order! Carlos was incredibly helpful from start to finish. He patiently answered all of our questions over the phone while we were placing the order and made the process super easy. He was also the one who delivered the food a week later, and he was just as amazing in person—friendly, professional, and right on time. The food was a hit and the service really stood out. Huge thanks to Carlos and the Joyride team. We’ll definitely be ordering again!
In Phoenix for a visit to the Mayo Clinic. We ate here yesterday and it was so good that we decided to come back again. The food is great, service is great, and you can't beat the happy hour options! We will be back the next time we are in Phoenix.
