The carnitas tacos were out of this world... The meat was seasoned well and very flavorful... Probably the best I've had in Phoenix and the portion of meat that they stuff in to them is unmatched anywhere and didn't even have to ask for guacamole it comes on them... Definite bonus... The rice was flavorful and very authentic although the beans fell little flat for me

I got the cheese enchilada and beef taco combo. It was so good, especially the rice and I'm not a huge fan of rice. Very flavorful.

I love a Mexican breakfast so enjoyed myself here. I had the chilaquiles. The eggs were a little overcooked but that’s part of my own preference. The salsa was pleasantly spicy and gave the chilaquiles a good taste. The texture was quite a bit softer than typical, still ok but I prefer getting a bit of softened fried tortillas vs overly softened ones. Beans and rice were good. Was disappointed they didn’t have horchata but I really liked the watermelon aqua Fresca instead. Service was nice.

This place is like stepping back in time. You just don't see old school Mexican Cafes like this anymore. At least not as much. The designs of the dining area the artwork and of course the food is just top-notch and well worth the money you pay which is not a lot for the amount of food that you get. Do yourself a favor and stop by Juanita's for breakfast or lunch you'll thank me later.

Service could be better. The cooks morning probably started off bad. Food was borderline burnt.

I’m from Mississippi and every single time I’m in Phoenix, I visit Ms.Juanita’s restaurant. She’s the nicest person you could ever meet and has the best tacos & Jamaica drink I’ve ever had.

Visited Juanitas this morning in search of some breakfast burritos and they did not disappoint!! I actually met Juanita herself and she was sooo nice and welcoming . The burritos were huge and the price was reasonable. Will definitely be going back !

Found Juanita’s Mexican Cafe hidden at 27th Ave just south of McDowell Rd. Came for the Chilaquiles Divorsiados!!! My goodness!! So much food for a breakfast. Taste is homemade. Tried the Cafe De Holla and omg it set the chilaquiles on check! Absolutely delicious and will definitely make this my go-to chilaquiles run!

Juanita is great
Man the breakfast bacon burrito was a hit! We enjoyed every bite most definitely recommended!
Horrible service . I felt the attitude while the waitress was taking my order but I just ignored it and took into consideration she might have been having a bad day . Three orders were taken after mine and they all received their drinks first . It was like I was intentionally forgotten about . I will never ever in my life return here . If you read though the reviews it’s like they choose who they don’t want to help .
